Also, pagan rulers with the ambition to form a kingdom have infinite subjugation casus belli against anyone within the kingdom (as long as the title isn't created yet) which means easy prestige if you raid your enemie's province before declaring war to destroy their levies. "With which army" with the army he would have gotten from his marshall if he had used the third ability to increase the levy size instead of maintenance. He did really well, but if he wanted to really optimize he could have done those things too. (Though I understand if explaining those things would make the video more complicated)
