Does Nuetron 4 "listen" to the other tracks\mix to best ensure the changes it makes on the chosen track fit optimally in overall mix?

Is it spectral processing or dynamic eq?

it's good and natural but it's too much we need finer settings

A looking ahead option would be appropriated it

Do I route my masked source to my masking source only or both my masking source and the master?

At times it can be hard to identify where the masking comes from.

This is more Automated to dial down specific frequencies that are identical.


Just not sure if it dials down more detail, like applying reduction on specific harmonic partials that clash or fundamentals ?

Or does it apply reduction on the whole frequency spectrum ?

Why do i not have the menu at he top twith the sidechain and other options? I can't find it or how to make it pop up.

Its just a Dynamic EQ with fancy colours, just to get you to buy it. Dynamic Eq with a sidechain does the same and can be done for free!😆

Yall upgrade is $99 and crossgrade is $149.

you could just do this with fabfiler pro3, or any other dynamic eq with sidechain input. izotope is the pro tools of plugins.

Does the EQ module still have the masking feature? So I can easily see where most making is occurring?

Undeniably this tool is overpriced. I have purchased many versions of Izotope products including 2 MPS versions and yet to upgrade to this it’s 150. That is madness. There is nothing new or groundbreaking here compared to what’s on the market.

Would you say that the unmasking feature works better then track spacer? Just wondering as I have neutron 3, nectar 3, ozone 9 and I use track spacer so I'm struggling to find a reason to pay $150 for an upgrade to neutron 4 the eq match feature is already in ozone 9 so there really seems to be nothing new in this upgrade at all.. for $150 I could buy a whole bunch of new pluggings from elsewhere

Nothing really new when you have Neutron 3, Ozone and Trash 2, except maybe the automatic unmasking feature. The whole thing is way too expensive for that.

Does Fabfilter Pro Q3 not have the same function called frequency collisions? However, Neuron 4 seems to have more flexibility when it allows for the level of unmasking. I may upgrade to MPS 5 from my old MPS 3 :)))

I would upgrade, but the price of a crossgrade is the same price as an upgrade from the previous version. I don't think that your upgrade pricing is fair to existing users.

Hey Geoff, is there a way to prevent Sculptor from causing latency?

Does the EQ module still have the option to view masking frequencies on other tracks with an instance of Neutron? Sometimes when there's 5+ guitar tracks, I like to be able to unmask between all of them. Unmasking via the EQ module would keep the moves I'm making as I switch between the various instruments, whereas this seems to only be able to carve out space for just one instrument.

I would love to see an update where the attack is as close to 0 as possible.

Looks good. Just curious how this differs from something like Trackspacer. It seems to approach frequency masking in the same way, but maybe I'm missing something.
