Ok so be very careful, I mean very careful !!!! with the flex cable leading to the L1 L2 housing connector. They are thin like rice paper and tear easy. bruh, I had to order a replacement from the U.K. off of E-Bay. It's a good thing I have a second PS5 controller otherwise I would have had to make a late night stop to good ol Walmart.

Just ripped the ribbon cable on the bottom. I think I’m done with these kinds of mods.

For how long should I heat up the touch pad thingy

Destroyed my controller following the instructions to a T. I do have very strong hands so I wasn’t surprised when I stripped the screw. I hope Best Buy can fix my fuck up, I was on the last part of disassembling too 😡

Does the track pad work for you guys when you get this together? I don't think mine does. Regardless it's very nice, I don't use it so much so it's not a huge thing for me

I went to Walmart so I could buy a PS5 controller, and exchange my old one with stick drift, but they only had the colored ones. So, I used what I learned from this video to swap out the guts of the controllers, and returned the old controller with the colored shell on it.

It's a stunning beauuutiful shell!

You guys are seriously amazing for all these tutorials on how to install your products! I followed this tutorial and one for the buttons and joy sticks to a T and was able to disassemble and reassemble the controller all by myself! And everything works, too! I doubted myself when opening it and seeing just all the tech in this one controller but your videos are very clear and exact and very appreciated! 💖💖💖💖

Touch pad panel doesn't fit my controller anyone else in that boat? My TouchPad only has one screw

Slooooow down speed racer. I came here for a tutorial, not a world record dualsense disassembly attempt. I had more success following the ifixit guides if anyone is looking for a better resource. Lovely products though! Heck I feel like my new shell may even be stronger than the original.

My ps button will not work after I installed this end the R2 L1clicky set any one know what to do. I was really hard to try the new controller.

@ExtremeRate do you sell non glossy cases? I know you have colors like black or purple with a matte finish. But i hope you make skins like surreal lava or nubula galaxy with the same feeling. I don't like this glossy thing.
