The great OLED hype haha sorry I just got a Sony x89kPU LED 120hz vrr and allm all for 649 from curry’s and after tweaking it through pictures settings it’s runs beautiful next to my OLED c1 43” it even goes brighter than my LGc1 and the picture quality isn’t night and day difference. This OLED hype is abit far fetched and LED tv that support 2.1 hdmi ports and are medium to high tier are still perfectly fine imo. Games today are not made for OLED and the content through Netflix etc are still not made for OLED and LED 4K is still fine for now. People shouldn’t worry about OLED till ps6 drops when 8k will become more common and 4K dies out

Im looking at a very similar setup except going 55 and having it above my bed. Going to have the pc hooked up to it (have my desk really close to my bed so just gonna use a big boi 2.1 HDMI cable). Really excited to have a tv especially something of this tier. Looking forward to gaming on my bed for whenever im tired of sitting at my desk coding and doing HW. Happy to see the wall mount looks super simple as well as that's the route im going to go. Definitely hesitated a lot between 48 inch and 55 inch but think overall both are a similar fit.

I am planning to buy same TV, but is it good to sit at a distance of 7 to 8 feet distance? As i think 55 inch is way larger for me as in a glance i cant see TV totally

This is what I'm gonna do for my Bday this May to replace my dual screen setup. Now that I have the gpu power to play games with my recent RTX 3080 12GB trinity OC card. :) Cant wait to play games in 4k 120hz. :)

Thanks for the full setup and review I just got the 42” C2 evo oled and was about to exchaange for the new 48” Oled monitor by LG but once I watched your post I’m convinced that this is the right setup for me especially with the Wall-mount, the 42” C2 is definitely not a wrong choice for anyone that wants the oled at a great price but I really wanted a 48” due to my age and eye sight and with the new LG monitor I was going to lose Dolby Atmos, HDR 10 and some other features that this new monitor did not have, so thanks again for the video!!!

how far away are you (eyes to monitor)? I was considering the 42" but my desk is only 75cm deep.

Excellent video and bad ass setup. That being said. I think and believe LG makes the best gaming tv's around period.
