I am still dealing with mad depression, my best friend died of brain cancer last year, I haven’t been able to process it till recently. But, if you’re thinking of suicide. Realize that the people you love and who love you. You won’t have them anymore. They also won’t have you. people talking shit on mental illness need to sit down for a few days and just go through the channel "soft white underbelly" shows interviews very well done of people from all walks of life going through crazy shit like depression addiction bad childhoods etc and it really gives a in depth look into these peoples lives and how it isnt as simple as just getting better for so many people

My friend tried to hang himself but the fan broke and he fell to the floor and his family walked in with a rope around his neck I think god stepped in and broke the fan he waa hanging off of I feel like god came and broke the fan to show him that hes worth living and people need him and care for him he pays other people bills sometimes if they are struggling he is an amazing person but something went through his mind and he tried to take his own life

I had a friend who had suicidal thoughts and the only reason that he didn’t commit suicide is because he couldn’t bear to think about how his friends and family would feel which made him feel even worse. I gave him some pretty similar advice and he figured out his problems and solve them and now he’s OK.

I strongly agree with Dontai and the topic of suicide. I have literally tried explaining this to my family members, saying that when you're at the point of wanting to end it all, your surroundings is the last thing on you mind and then we get called selfish. As a Christian, suicide is a sin, life is considered as a gift from God but at the same time life pushes you to that extent
