ОтветитьI sell my hot sauce and spices at a local Farmer's Market here in Alabama. The gentleman who operates the stall directly across from me sells the most amazing variety of mushrooms! He and his wife grow a varied number of cultivars; probably 7 or 8 varieties. Over the course of 3 years, I have watched him really turn lots of new customers - most who claimed they didn't really care for mushrooms - into regular, weekly customers. His wife is constantly explaining an expanse of ways to use them. They have created a lot of new mushroom lovers. I love watching them sell.
Chef, thank you for this great recipe. Make an old 74 year-old guy like me remember my mom cooking nearly the same recipe those many years ago.

There is a restaurant near me that makes something similar with the meat of roasted short ribs of beef and homemade Pappardelle pasta. It is delicious. This looks great too, and is good for someone who is a vegetarian.

ОтветитьChef John, I think it would be hilarious if one day you use a new utensil every time you use one. So stir with a spoon then put spoon in sink. 5 seconds later, grab new spoon and stir dish. Same with knives, forks, etc. See if anyone notices. lol
