What was the cost breakdown of the dollar store haul?

Take it to UPS and they will laminate with the 10mil for very inexpensive

When you punched the holes after laminating, did it not break the seal ?

I just bought a Big Happy Planner teacher planner kit on sale for 20.99 at Joann Fabric. But this was great. I honestly was at this point had I not found that Memorial Day sale, lol.

I never thought of using party bags for planner covers, that hello gorgeous literally screams happy planner vibes.

I've been using holiday cards as dividers in my planners and BOS, but I never thought to use gift bags! That's BRILLIANT!!! Especially as most people I know opt for stronger ones 😌👍

paper cutters are a great investment! that would help you cut down your covers and laminates to like 1/4 the time. love this video!

Cool idea but JoAnns has Happy Planner planners 40 percent off. I think that is more cost effective than buying all these gift bags plus laminating sheets. I would only do this DIY for fun but it’s more expensive than just buying a planner.

Aren’t their bags just gorgeous! I almost always see bags I fall in love with. I add it to my gift wrap container to be used as a gift bag or as a planner cover. I got that idea from Life at 50 and Beyond. It’s a wonderful way to make custom planner covers. Also when the cardstock goes on sale at Michael’s for $5 I’ll go grab one for future planner covers as well. I love The Bates House too! Their channels show so many DIY planning ideas for people on a budget. It’s so satisfying to create your own designs too. Now I’m subbed to you too as I’m planning to get back into my planning again. Your planner came out beautiful 😊👍

I loved your Dollar Tree ideas for making the planner. Never thought about using gift bags. Great idea!

The open stock paper at crafts stores like Joanns are 12 inches by 12 inches. You can make a lot of pretty covers and dividers with the paper as well. The open stock paper also seems to go on sale a lot. I have see it at $0.25 each to 40% off.
