MKII are simply the greatest Rock Band of all time!!
ОтветитьBlackmore correctly predicting that the incredibly short shorts would not age well.
ОтветитьRitchie is the Perfect Stranger in this video.😅
ОтветитьJust thinking how many good times Ritchie gave me...I started playing cos of him, bought my first guitar a Strat cos of him...still headbanging with his riffs n solos...old?!? Naaah ❤❤❤
ОтветитьMaybe a slight touch of heatstroke🎼🤘🏻
ОтветитьThose shorts Jon Lord is wearing are a little scary...lol.
Ответитьwith my group of friends i’m ritchie hahaha
ОтветитьSaw them 3 times on that tour. Met and had a pint with Iain Paice and Jon Lord who got us AAA passes for the Birmingham NEC where we hung out with the band (minus Mr B) backstage. Unforgettable.
ОтветитьIt looks like hes sitting on the ground rolling a joint 👍
ОтветитьI'm still thinking about how a lot of the musicians Ritchie played in a band with would still be nobodies if they hadn't played with him.
ОтветитьSaw the tour for that record it was incredible those guys were awesome together !
ОтветитьThe boys enjoying Stowe, Vermont. They would often go to Mr. Pickwick's English Pub to relax. No longer there but the memories last forever.
ОтветитьI was hoping it was footage of La Mammas club in Bedford where they did the rehearsal for the tour, and later played at a local pub - The George and Dragon - under a fake name. That would have been late 84 early 85.
ОтветитьMain songwriter taking inspiration from nature.
Ответитьいつでもどこでもイメージ通りのRitchie Blackmoreで安心。
長生きしてほしい。
I imagine that he spent 9/10 of every hour relaxing just to get away from Ian Gillian.
ОтветитьI use to unload trucks back in the 80's as my job, one day I open the back and there was cases of amps and gear. Looked on the shipping label and it read C/O of Deep Purple, Stowe, VT.
ОтветитьGreatest guitar player ever!! I know his guitar sound over anyone else
ОтветитьRichie wasn't wearing them shorts he was on strike 😂😂😂 richie blackmore my electric guitar hero 😊
ОтветитьKudos to Ritchie for refusing to don those 80's short-shorts
ОтветитьWhat a loner Freak.
Ответитьperfect strangers is iconic song
ОтветитьTwo years before of MARADONA majestic goal to England. UNFORGETTABLE !.. -
ОтветитьCan I come play
ОтветитьOmg boys your killing me here
ОтветитьAmazing to see this. All this great often talked about but never seen footage from the time in Vermont is what would - and I think should - make for a great documentary about the reunion and album recording. Has there ever really been one done, I don't think so and I'm not aware of it being lost but this was such a historic event in rock history that there ought to be one made. Or at the very least, all this wonderful rare footage shown now. 🎩🎸
ОтветитьThe best comment I've ever heard about Ritchie.Blackmore was from his former Bass player in DP and Rainbow, Roger Glover. When asked about personal differences in clashes between bandmate's personalities, Roger simply said Ritchie was all about the music.
Ответитьgreat ;)
ОтветитьOne of my favorite DP songs...I like the video. Although you can tell it's choreographed from the start it's good to see them all having a good time. Great band
ОтветитьRitchie feeling the effects of 8 Spaten's here. He is toast and needs a nap.
Ответитьso many psychiatrists in the comments section..
dorks
LEGENDS... all of them. Every single person in this video is an absolutely phenomenal musician in their own right! Long live The Man In Black 🖤
ОтветитьThat was.......wait for it.......... fascinating.....thank you ..made my day
ОтветитьLet's Go Space Truckin'!!!
ОтветитьThe best DP albums are with Blackmore.
ОтветитьStarted playing bass and then guitar , but only bass since Multiple Sclerosis but it never progressed 23 years MS .
Started detuning bass D G C F , then Capo 2 nd Frett back to regular tuning but with Much Lower Tension on Thunderbird , Exployer.
Played gig like that with Explorer. !
30 minute set Token Lounge Westland MI.
Sond list
Hey Baby
Heartbreaker LLMaid. Moby Dick
Stranglehold with phase 90 on bass like the album .
Shared due to ppl thinking MS would stop ability to play great bass parts .
Have Catalog of Rainbow, Deep Purple.
Thank You and Band for Great Songs !
Caught that 85 tour in Providence, RI. Great show, and time does fly by.
ОтветитьRitchie Blackmore, Rainbow, and Deep Purple are my go-to Rock bands, and I’m getting old, almost 65, and yet, never too old to listen to these great bands, in my youth, these bands were a trouvaille! I love Ritchie-nonpareil.
ОтветитьSaw them here in Sydney Australia in late 1984 on the perfect Strangers tour the memories shit I'm old 😂
Ответить💜 Perfect Strangers 💜
Am so happy to see this footage Thank You!
Great memories from a snapshot in time 🥸
These We’re happy times for Me personally am 17yrs and what a a gift…
Do You believe in Miracles 🙏
My dream had become reality My 5heroes We’re back together again to make new music & tour….
The Perfect Strangers Album A Very Mr. R.B influenced album indeed!!!!
Was lucky to enjoy 3shows in 1985 in Stockholm Sweden 🇸🇪 on that tour! To this day & hundreds of shows later…nothing will beat those special moments in my life…
Am now a well grown adult with 2 children & understand so much more. When i see Mr. R.B ♈️ here i think… He had alot going on in his life both on a private & Professional level…. Divorced again, his son now 20years & has abandoned His own creation Rainbow 🤘🌈 on the height of their success….Feeling: Alone,
Frustrated, Misunderstood & Uncertain what the future will bring ? Regrets ?
Can i really live this thru & f.ex tolerate Mr. I.G ♌️ at times: unprofessional, childish, disrespectful & drunkard behaviour etc ?
Thank You For The Music 💥🎸🎼
Me Must Remain 💜💜💜
Cheers From Norway 🇳🇴
Their best album by far always has been he's work on Wasted sunsets is mine blowing
ОтветитьCool music I'm guessing it's a jam
ОтветитьHe gives the impression of being quite lonely in this particular scene.
ОтветитьPerfect strangers!
ОтветитьI love RB but even in this he seems like he's distanced from the rest of the guys
ОтветитьThat was taken outside of Horizons in Stowe Vermont, with Le Mobile studio in the background. Very cool setup, reminiscent of how Led Zeppelin recorded at Headley Grange. My favorite Deep Purple album is Perfect Strangers, it’s likely because of not only the lineup but the magic of the recording.
Ответитьcoolest guy ever!
ОтветитьBrilliant. Typical 80s Garb . Just think, they were all getting to know each other all over again then . Dear old Jon RIP
Where is the music from ? Sounds like a Purple Jam ive never heard ?
Ritchie a bit overdressed in comparison
