UPDATE: The final version of the keyboard we received was not markedly different from the one Linus tries in the video.
ОтветитьThat purple red background is driving me crazy
ОтветитьMy TV is handheld too, when I have to move it, I use my hands!
ОтветитьI LOVE THIS
ОтветитьWhy was the audio so off in this?
ОтветитьWhoah guys, using the iOS message tone bell as a sound effect is not fun.
ОтветитьIntel.............ewwwww.
ОтветитьAll those specs about the screen, yet no mention of the panel type?
Ответитьmic quality killed the video for me. sorry :(
ОтветитьSo it’s a ASUS ROG flow Z13 with a controller around it?
ОтветитьI bought this device and the external GPU- here’s my experience.
OneXPlayer no longer works. I am very disappointed….
The device no longer charges. It overheated after a couple hour session and no longer works. This device gets insanely hot very quickly, even with the fans turned to max setting, By far the hottest part of the device is the finger print scanner, which feels like you’re going to burn your finger print off every time you touch it.
The external GPU is not plug and play. Requires you to install drivers and then reset the system twice for the update to take effect, and still the GPU is inconsistent. It’s like you have to unplug and plug it back in and reset the device over and over until it finally works. Unreal how these devices came in a bundle and don’t even have compatible drivers installed. These devices are hardly compatible at all, can’t believe they are made by the same company.
The turbo button is inconsistent, sometimes it turns on turbo mode, sometimes it opens power and fan settings, and sometimes it opens a full screen application.
The controller doesn’t lock in tightly, so it will lose connection while you’re playing.
For $2,000 I’ve gotten maybe 20 hours out of this device. It was a powerful device while it lasted, although it was extremely frustrating to use. Unbelievable…
disappointed there is no writing/drawing stylus ✍️. It could be the ultimate student note taking device
Ответитьwait so it’s just a gaming surface?
ОтветитьThat's not a handheld, that's a laptop you can attach controllers to lol
ОтветитьCan't believe the editor wouldn't include Linus dropping something.
Ответитьif this device comes with 8840U, I would get it. I would probably bring this out as a tablet and keyboard without the controllers that it comes with, I probably bring my own Xbox controller.
ОтветитьI actually hope this form factor takes off. This is really great if polished, a hand-held, tablet laptop, and since you hold a handheld console by the controller the screen actually make a lot of sense, again all that if polished
ОтветитьI demand we get to see Linus dropping things! I didn't come here to hear about drops, I came to witness them.
Ответитьyou guys should take a look at the minisforum v3, basically a 14" version of this with an AMD APU
ОтветитьWhat is up with the muffled audio?
ОтветитьShout out to Gamers nexus for this. Each "X" adds $50 to the cost of the product. Gamers are willing to pay an extra $100 for that! 🤦♂
ОтветитьI would hold that find as my hand can hold the s23 ultra with ease
Ответитьremember the razer gaming tablet? it's ahead of its time.
ОтветитьI know Intel wants to get into this but AMD is like 10 steps ahead ...
ОтветитьHdr is like windows vista the next step will seem longer as vista was a step backwards. Hdr is bullshtj standardised brightness in with control that make no sense. If they said autk contrast it woukdnt have sold more tvs and ps pros and finally a way to get more of that mind controling blue light to your brain, the mice in blue light studies could be made hungry angry energetic or tired via blue light and it was aimed at their head penetrat8ngthe skull. The year of that study is the year that tube tvs were replaced with blue light led. Thtas why theres a blue light filter on your phones
ОтветитьIt's honestly hilarious to see people complain about the size of any of the little gaming handhelds on the market. Clearly this one is large and idk how much heavier it is than the Legion Go. But I love the Legion Go and can't imagine playing games on something smaller, like the Legion Go is the perfect size for games of all kind like Baldurs Gate 3 or Disco Elysium and things with small text or a lot on screen.
The size really isn't bad I think people just need to do more with their arms or something lmao. I literally will walk around the house holding the Legion Go up in front of my face and play till the battery dies or lay in the bed/floor holding it over my face up in the air no issues. I don't think these are as heavy as people make them out to be and there are people who want the larger screens. To be fair I am not the type of person to sit my hands and game on the table and stare down at it, I want my neck and head to be looking forward in a normal not hunched position. Maybe since I hold my phones and stuff up apposed to down below my chest that is why holding the Legion Go is less of a hassle or something. But I see people literally putting their phones on the counter and staring straight down at them which makes no sense to me just buy a MagSafe stand or some kind of stand to hold your phone up if you aren't going to hold it or wanna watch something while you eat. 😂
Edit: One of the things I love about the legion go is the controllers and I think when its something like this where you will be stuck with what ever buttons and joysticks that come along with the device cuz lets be real there will be no aftermarket controllers for this thing. So I think that is important to have good controllers. That is one of the many reasons why I chose the Legion Go over the ROG Ally was the crappy joysticks on the Ally and the mushy buttons!
Hi Patty! Great content per usual, thanks for sharing your experience!!!!
Ответить"Dog Shite" ahahah. Never knew how much of an influence the scottish have on Canadians. Do you guys have a Govan too?
ОтветитьAfter seeing the AliExpress price for this gaming tablet, I feel like I won't be missing out
ОтветитьFuck all these bullshit ass gaming systems that’s coming out. We need a PlayStation portable again.
ОтветитьTo be honest I don't think they're infringing because the onexplayer 2 and the onexplayer 2 pro both had detachable controllers before this one and before the Lenovo Legion go.
Ответитьif it's a pc inside so i can download roms to play in emulator?
Ответитьthey are making hand-held for adults only i guess..😂 no kid can fully hold the weight
ОтветитьLooking at those USB-C ports, it looks like it is going to be super annoying to play games with the controller attached while charging.
ОтветитьI have a Galaxy Tab S9 that I slapped a modded G8 Galileo controller on. Using Moonlight streaming over wifi i literally have my gaming PC in my hands. And yes, the size is ridiculous 🤣
ОтветитьIf it was made by Sony it would have gotten rave review. He was more excited for the portal!!! Dudes a joke
ОтветитьThis looks like when I throw my Fold4 into a Backbone Controller.
ОтветитьThey made a mistake going intel with this
ОтветитьHDR on the deck oled has spoiled me. I want that same hdr oled display but on my legion go at 1200p.
Ответить"I dropped this in a previous take and it damaged the packaging"
Yes Linus, we knew that. It's a given at this point.
One-Notebook need to drop that tacky orange styling and smarten the look of their products.
ОтветитьIDK if its just me but the audio at times sounded robotic and badly compressed basically crappy compared what they usually put out
ОтветитьWhy dont you link the official oneXplayer store ?
Ответитьif this had a z1 extreme it would probably be a little more appealing to people, the intel igpu being there is a massive pain some times and it's just not ideal for a gaming focused machine, for me personally
Ответитьhard no
#1 the almost 900$ price tag
#2 weight
#3 the controllers are jacked
#4 the controllers block some ports
had they included a standalone controller like the Switch does it might be another story but still 900$ for what the Steam Deck already does but with marginal performance increase isn't worth the price tag.
Am definitely buying it
ОтветитьWhen I heard the resolution and 120hz… I knew.. it’s an expensive device no one will buy
ОтветитьPerfect handheld screen for Shaq, controller to small for Shaq.
Ответить
