James Bond is a British MI6 Agent.....No Americans impersonating British Characters!. No Black or Female Bonds either, I wouldn't go see that in the Cinema.

As an American, I think the next James bond should be Ewen McGregor, because he's the exact opposite of the typical Brit, in anyone's case, kinda like the BBC. but if you go back to the history of the bond books and movies, Sean Connery was Scottish. In face when Ian Flemming[Author of the bond books]. Met Mr Connery, and he loved his thick accent so much, that he decided to use his Scottish background into the characters history. If you want an English prepresntative that's fine. But their are other English dialects, such as Welsh,Cockney,Irish,Scottish,Manchester,Northhampton,Liverpool, but some of dialect was taken from the previous bond actors.

Plus James bond should never be american.

Ian Fleming’s Bond is supposed to have had a Swedish mother and a Scottish father....Idris Elba is gonna find it hard to pull that off, as good as he is!

I already seem more of these kind of video's, and i notice that a lot of them seem to miss one important factor: age. Take Idris, he is 47 on this moment, and since a new Bond film takes about 3 years to produce these days, will likely be 50/51 at the time of the release, and only if they start preproduction right after No Time To Die. That is not a fitting age for a Bond. People already start to complain that Daniel his age is showing in the action is his later films. And o yeah, he is black, so that is a no go

My top two (ok and only) since hearing it might be his last film were always Idris Elba and Tom Hardy. Both are charismatic, brilliant actors, manly, so good looking, and just have that “it” thing. The rest 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Idris is too old. Hardy does not ooze charm. David definitely not. Cavill no. Tom is too soft.

As a German I only can wait & see, but my favourite actor would be >Tom Ellis< (Why didn't he come up on any Next-Bond-List?).
When you see him in "Lucifer", nearly in every episode of the show there was at least one scene, I could imagine in a Bond movie. I would like to see a James Bond in the way as Lucifer Morningstar.
