Great article. I'm going to invest some time into this. Great to get the benefit of your own research.

It's worth noting that the Alpine Project requires you to have the full version of Kontact 5. You can't just have the player. So I think Kontakt will run their instruments in DEMO mode. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it is something to be aware of.

Some of these freebies sound better than the Factory library, I already have the Rhodes piano on my 4TB
external hard drive. I have just bought Kontakt but they do work in Demo mode in the Player version.
