Just picked one up for $25! As soon as I stepped on it, I was playing through my catalog of Foo Fighters songs. So that will give you an idea of where this falls sonically.

So far, it prefers my sparkle drive after it rather than boosting into it. It also takes my dyna comp like a champ. It's so beefy!

2 seconds in and the title shows the wrong pedal. Par for the course for GC.

That was Black the Sky by King's X. Nobody plays their riffs and it's a shame. Great tone.

So, has it something to do with THE swedish band, do they receive royalties?

idk, sounds a bit like a cliche rock sound. I'm a big fan of the lesser known DF-2, one can really get some unusual distortion tone with that thing and also the infinite feedback is something that can be played like it's own instrument. One could truly say that the feedback hold function can be used to great effect to create tension, build drama, and create a bit of unexpected weirdness I've tried quite a few, including higher end tube distortions and for my ear the DF-2 is the shit. It's also a great effect to use if you even want to create ambient textures. I would recommend keeping the feedback knob at a bit less than 50 percent or else the tone of your distortion can get a bit over-shrill.

God these pedals demos don’t do the pedal service when all they play is blues rock. I shit u not if u play blues rock when doing a demo, it doesn’t matter the pedal, it will sound the same

Thanks for the demo. Bought mine last week. If we dial Gain at 4 o’clock , Filter at 0, volume at 1 o’clock and you can easily get a heavy Swedish death-metal tone (Fat mode)

Currently on sale for £20 from Gear4Music in the UK. Bargain. I have a DS-1 but that is designed to require pushing through a near dirty channel, it sounds thin and brittle on the clean channel so hopefully this will have enough depth and punch. Will be pushing it into a Peavey Bandit 112.

Tried mine out in a compare after spotting it for a CHEAP £20 at Gear4music. More depth, thickness, grunt than the DS-1 so does the job on all the regular rock like Muse, Foos, Biffy, Feeder etc. I needed one for the clean channel and the DS-1 wasn't designed for that, it needs a bit of dirt with it. Using a Peavey Bandit 112 fwiw.
