PICO 4 vs QUEST 2 - Which one Should I GET?

how is it for watching movies? want to use a VR headset for watching movies to block out all distractions

I got the quest 2 and maybe I kinda will get pico 4

So did anything change these past 11 months regarding Pico 4? Is it something that gets updates or is it a neglected product?

Can you play poker stars on pico4?

It is so hard now what headset to use when you start with VR. There is no perfect headset and all of them are super expensive. The announcement of the Quest 3 just made it harder. Personally I only care about RE4 when going standalone. 99% of the time would be used in PCVR. The only productivity I would wanna use is using a Whiteboard in VR which probably also works on PCVR.

Pro controllers are like add me to the headset.

Why no image comparison?

Oculus software sucks my headset no longer connects to my phone and there 0 troubleshooting to help, temporarily quest didn’t allow me to update games once they update they just restarted. The oculus also won’t let me change internets almost all of the time then randomly the menus buttons work. Controller have extreme stick drift. The worst part about all of quest is that the headset I’m talking about now was my 3rd headset the other 2 broke

Quest2 is $300 and basically same specs. If your gonna spend over $400 just wait for a quest 3 for $500

Ok that's an amazing comparison, but now that I know that computer games need to be plugged in to your computer. If I will play only computer games, should I pick the Pico4VR or maybe would be better an AR glasses? I'd like to have an immersive experience, which would you choose?

To me the biggest selling point of a Pico 4 is not needing a Facebook account to use it. Tbh, that's the only reason why I keep my Facebook account open.

Terrible headset, I much preferred the Quest 2. On The Pico 4 it looked like the image compression was higher (via link cable) Could see thousands of black dots in game around 3-4 meters away. The mic either picked up everything or nothing at all (VRC) Also I could see light on the outside reflecting of both lens edges. And the controllers weren't as comfy to hold, my middle fingers didn't line up with the side trigger. Iv just sent mine back.

I put my Pico 4 on a grizzly bear at Woburn zoo, it started spinning around and bumped into a tree which it then climbed up and it never came back down 😢

Quest 2's comfort level is like an instrument of torture compare to Pico lol, I don't get why there are many reviews rating quest 2 on top.

IS the hardware open like osvr with psco 4 , so you can emulate/spoof other vr headset? o love having control over my hardware as a feel vr is like a tv , yet they treat it like a game systen.

I'm sticking with the quest 2, there ARE SO MANY accessories for the quest 2 and it's WAY MORE comfortable than pico 4 I think

If you go for 120 on the quest you get choppy frames so it doesn’t really win in that argument.

After Using the Pico 4, its a torture to use Quest 2 (Both out of the box, no accessory)
