In USA 🇺🇸 when using The Shady example another slang version is throwing shade which means the person or people r making fun of u both Sarcastically N non sarcastically

That's funny... In the segment, "I'm down", You used the word "keen". We don't use that word in America very much anymore..., unless your old. Boomers, still use it occasionally. That was popular, over here, in the fifties, I believe. 😂😂

- It’s pants / it’s the pants
- on the wagon / off the wagon
- it’s a moot point
I know what they mean, but remembering in the moment is difficult.

If I may offer a correction… the term “rip off” has less to do with the cost of an item in comparison to its fair market value than it does to do with the means by which one is convinced to over pay for that item. A rip off is a form con or scam where perpetrator sells the victim something that either does not actually exist or is of lesser value than advertised. In the States, we have a similar idiom, “I got robbed”, implying that I got tricked into handing over my money. A better example of a rip off would be purchasing online what appears to be a full size couch that turns out to be made for a doll’s house.
A rip off can also refer to a work of artistic plagiarism.
