Factorio Mod Spotlight - Waterfill

It a nice thing to have during no biters run.
Is it possible to just mod basic pump to be placed anywhere?
It will not give any strategical advantage to defend biters bot remove boring pipe placement.

this mod breaks the game balance because it doesn't introduce swimming mechanics for players (you can kill or trap players in multiplayer) and bitters (you can build unreachable bases).
Just use Noxys Waterfill and Noxys Swimming mods.

Waterfill is stupidly OP but very fun especially in multiplayer.

be careful placing the water, it can delete entities and insta kill you lol.

I personally prefer safe waterfill, it's less ... suicidal

You should have shown us at the end of the video what happens when you place it underneath you. Such a missed opportunity. :)

Placing it underneath entities instantly kills them. This includes the player.

How cool would it be if water was finite so you had to strategically plan for its eventual consumption.

Love this mod! I use it as a regular QOL mod with every run-through.

You could do a big mote around your base but crank up the biters to maximum difficulty with mods even.... but then you open just a small land bridge for them to attack you, it would be epic

Ive started an bobs/angels game and goddamn its hard. Like really. The new patch made a lot of things way harder. I'm trying to make the third science and its a biattttch

is there a mod that will let you put water only where landfill has been placed?

I love this mod. Training water around is just not feasible. Can be used in a cheaty way, but that's not why I use it.

I prefer explosive excavation

They should be some way to pump water from ground. Water trains are impractical and drag pumps for hundrets tiles is annoying.
