Why did you have to file a form I-130 and did you have to pay for all of your forms separately?

My EAD card came after 3 months, and my case is recently approved 3 days ago! The best Christmas gift ever. My case took 6 months from June to December. No interview as well! It’s could have been only 5 months if we didn’t have to ask them to re-send our “request for more evidence.”

If you had to do it all over again, would you still use a lawyer?

I just got the approval that my case is approved, and now I am waiting for card. I received the receipt on August 9th and got the approval on November 1st, in 84 days. I did biometrics on the September 21st. No EAD, interview, just straight to case approval.

Is the foreigner supposed to be the one to fill out the documents Who is considered the beneficiary? I started filling out some of the documents and listed my foreign fiance as the beneficiary. Is that wrong? Also, how much should I expect to spend on an immigration lawyer? (I'm in Florida)

So weird.. I got my biometrics done on May 30th. It is now the end of August and still nothing for my Work Authorisation. We also have for kids to look after so I would presume we would be a little bit more important than this woman getting the Employment Authorisation form approved because of the fact we have to support 4 kids (All US citizens). But maybe every state is different.. Plus can anyone tell me. I have not done my medical yet because my lawyer said not to do it until they send you out a letter requesting it.

How did you go the US on a tourist visa, get married, and then apply for a green card? I have been living seperately from my husband in Canada (We are long distance) and thought we had to live apart. It says you cant enter with intent to stay without being accused of illegal immigration?

Hi Sarah, Thank you for the video. I just received my approval for AOS (Green Card) approved without an interview for B2/tourist visa to marriage based/USC and I also live in Philadelphia. We filed last 1 April 2023 and we got the approval on 22 May 2023 (Less than 2 months). We were actually surprised by the quick processing not to mention no interview was required. My service center is Potomac Service Center and the first three characters of the receipt number IOE. Maybe it will be helpful for your subscribers.

Hi, thanks for updating your green card timeline! I was curious how your EAD came so quickly. I had biometric done about 3 weeks ago for both I-765 and I-485 and it is still shows that actively reviewing by USCIS. Did you expedite it by chance? Thanks for your time and effort to read and commenting!
