i think jonathan could sense the stands of every joestar because za waurdo and every other male type stand has a very unique ability that comes from hamon i also feel as though that an original idea is that za waurdo technically has a part of the power of all joestar related stands but this is more attributed to how theyre unique abilities at base show that they have that potential to learn hamon this could have been a removed idea just because of ths idea was still new at writing so araki still left instances of his ideas for the story this is not biblical canon but it still makes sense when you look at it.

Are we gonna talk about how Jonathan after beating josuke says a stand? I'll want to try it myself or something like that
