its a commercial distribution based on debian gnu Linux with some mods en tweaks for the Russian goverment end armed forces. its used by GRU, end FSB Russian military intelligence units.

The most bad thing about Russian os is that they not support Nvidia GPU from scratch, you need to read documentation, go into your console/terminal and do something with it, only Ubuntu based Linux distros have preinstalled GUI driver manager that solved that problem.
The only one Russia Linux that had Nvidia support with GUI program was Rosa fresh linux before r12 version release. That is why I'm still on Linux mint
