I love Monk's reaction at the beginning, I think he realized that there's someone with more issues than him LOL.

Sorry but Harold is one of my least favorite characters lol. But the actor plays the part well. And Monk deserved to lose the parking garage here for calling that girl stupid after he helped her and for wanting the garage to stay for selfish reasons.

I love how they kept insinuating the brunette was kinda dim with her own actions....the sign in the Lamaze class had tear-away tabs,but instead she wrote the number on her hand where it would definitely smudge....lol

The guy really needs to get a lawyer. All of that 'evidence' that Monk set forth is circumstantial at best, nowhere near enough for a conviction. Guilt has to be proven 'beyond a reasonable doubt', and that's never more important than with a crime that can result in a life sentence like murder.

Harold is the closest thing that Adrian had to a nemesis, still one of my favorite series..

Awesome underrated episode - unfortunately when it first aired it was overshadowed by having a notoriously misleading trailer. It implied that it was going to advance the Trudy plot saying that "you won't believe what he finds" in the garage, and with it being the season finale of the penultimate season it made it all the more believable. Turned out to be a nothingburger on that end. Still a very good episode though. Apparently there was a similar thing with the Man who Shot Santa.

What made him think she said she was pregnant? Cause he said she wouldnt drink now.
Maybe she is trying to lose weight, or is on a diet, or is suffering from stomach acid... based on that he insults the pregnant lady?
Also no one else wears that tie? That sheriff actually arrests him?

Then he loses the garage because he called the pregnant woman with voting rights a dolt.

LOVE it when a 'pastor' is taken down by a MONK, LOL...

Even though Monk is summing up how he solved the case in this scene; at the same time, it's also one of those moments where he becomes his own worst enemy. In this case, it was by openly insulting the very person that he persuaded to vote in his favor, while she was within earshot.

The way he rold that girl the harsh truth and still kept making his argument was hilarious .

You'd think a guy who bought extremely expensive custom made ties wouldn't use it as a murder weapon and also leave it on the corpse. Also, the fact that he buys those ties isn't really definitive proof.

I know that everyone thinks its so hilarious that she wrote the number down instead of taking the paper strips. I would write it down too, because I would quickly lose that flimsy bit of paper.

Shows like this are ridiculous. A custom tie isn't proof... its very very very far from it. You couldn't even get an arrest from that.

Wow...all those years ago and they've encapsulated what passes as leadership in SF...dissociative drama queens yearning for victimhood while riddled with guilt and self-loathing brought about by being entitled and living off of a sizable trustfund.

Remain silent. No proof, no guilty verdict. How does his little Scooby unmasking change anything? It does not indicate guilt. It's just words. Those sheriff's deputy 's would not even try to lead the supposedly guilty man away. Stupid.

The fact that the murderer guy took advantage of Monk (with who they've met one day before) and made him to pay them an expensive drink while obviously being the only person in the room who could afford things like this shows how unscrupulous he is. Great foreshadowing.
