Well to be fair AC was never ultra realistic to begin with. I dont think the fantasy elements are what make oddessy less AC like than those before origins but the RPG like gameplay. You can still play as an assassin, hell you technically are one still its just not as focused as previous games if that makes sense

Even though it didn't feel very Assassin's Creed, it was a fun game to play. It's really a personal preference when it comes to gaming. I like both old and new AC games.
