This works, but the port doesn't or it does. When using my home router to connect to my server it works fine, but when using my phones network it cannot connect what so ever. Is there any fix for this?

For those wondering how to have the server behind a Cloudflare proxy (so your IP won't leak) only a handfull of ports are allowed through Cloudflare proxy so it is impossible to use 25565. And if you change the port to something other than 25565 players would need to specify that in their Minecraft clients which is probably something you don't want. So, yeah, not really possible.

I followed these steps exactly, all the same settings, but for some reason I get a connection timeout error when anyone outside my home network tries to join. I can join locally though so the issue must be with the cloudflare connection. Any thoughts?

Is there a way to make work using Cloudflare tunnel? My network works over NAT so I dont have an IP adress to point to.

For some reason, it doesn't work. I tried several times and everything seems correct but it just says Unknown host and sometimes, if I try to connect, Minecraft crashes.

So just to make sure, I own a website and I prefer to host with hostgator. If i were to change my nameservers it would no longer be hosted with hostgator right? So my only reasonable option is to pay monthly for ANOTHER domain which means I might as well just pay for a minecraft server hosting service for the convenience of having customer service and not ruining my business website just so my friends and i can play mc. Lmk if I’m missing something here

i did exactly how you did i use google domains i went to cloudflare copy the cloudflare nameservers and went to google domain custom nameservers tab and pasted the two nameservers of the cloudflare and cloudflare said the domain was active and now i exactly added A record and SRV record and tried on minecraft but is says Can't connect to server.
