i comeback for her after 2 years, but my steam account is gone...lol T_T

they have awesome classes but the game QoL are too horrible....the abyss didnt actually solve the issue with the fast travel cuz it's kinda pricey....unless you farm alot, your silver would ran out so fast if you use the fast travel regularly..the game also has no clear goal and it gets bored so fast cuz you cant freely move across the map in short amount of time and....i play mmorpg cuz i love moving around the map, so when such feature got restricted, it took me faster to grow tired of this game.....i've quit,returned and quit again so many time already.....always end up quiting due to the same restrictive QoL..the longer you play the game, the less motivation you have to spend on travelling around manually.......enhancing RNG didnt bother me as much cuz most things can be done just fine with the tet gears or pen tuvala from event.....

The best explanation for BLACK DESERT ONLINE... The game designers sat down in a room and looked at every system in an MMO and asked the question "How can we make that system as complex and rewarding as possible". This is the most fulfilling MMO to play for sheer content and true dynamic system complexity.
When the game dropped the story was terrible and you had the black spirit constantly yelling at you to complete the story, which you didn't want to play. So he never stopped yelling XD. Now he no longer talks outside of conversations you initiate and the story actually has some depth to it.
New players need to remember this is not a Completion Based MMO. You don't rush the end game in BDO, because the end game is not obtainable (so don't spend real money on the in-game shop), there is a soft end game but this MMO is constantly moving and mainly focuses on Character and Family Building.
The creators of this MMO are HUGE FAN'S of the Aincrad Arc in Sword Art Online. They wanted to develop a game that gives you access to 5 years worth of content immediately with each system qualifying as a separate game in its own right (PVP, Guild, Life Skilling, Worker Empire Building, Markets, Knowledge Seekers, Player Housing....etc).
I wish someone would have told me this when I started BDO because if you look at this game like other MMOs or RPGs here is what you get.
The feeling of being overwhelmed because there is too much content ((where do I start, how can I possibly do everything) (especially if you are coming from MMOs or RPGs that path-follow)), the struggle with every system being too complex (why can’t I figure out how to PVP, LifeSkill, Player housing…etc (all I am doing is reading/watching walkthroughs), the fear of being left out (It takes too long to master PVP, LifeSkill, Player housing…etc (what if halfway to mastery my friends or I want to do something else (this game makes me think about my own real-life path, I am unsure).
So, to enjoy this game take your time, don’t rush, and embrace the complexity of each system as you learn them. Much like taking steps along your real-life path from School to work and finally a family or empire, remember neither is built in a day.
