ОтветитьI went to NY in December, and we stayed in Sonder at Battery Park. It was a pretty good stay, the commute was pretty easy too to all out of attractions
ОтветитьNew York $hitty
ОтветитьThis vid is apparently advising you how not to get broke, but she’s talking about expensive options??? I guess the answer is that it’s not possible. What a tease. Also, is it harsh that my travel agent said that Brooklyn isn’t a good place to stay?
ОтветитьNYC Hotels are known to have a Bed Bug Problem...What Say YOU, Sarah? What Hotel should I AVOID???!!!
ОтветитьThis would be good to know for those considering Travel assignments. ☺️
ОтветитьAnother option is to stay in Jersey City or Hoboken. You can get into Manhattan just as fast as you can from Queens. In Jersey you'll get a view of Manhattan, but you'll be paying less money or getting much more space for your money. Also, if you want to drive to NYC you can park your car in Jersey for MUCH less. Leave you car in Jersey and take the PATH or ferry into Manhattan. Jersey City and Hoboken look just like many parts of Brooklyn. You can take pictures of Hoboken or JC and tell your friends you stayed in Brooklyn and they'll never know the diff.
ОтветитьJan-Mar is the worst time to visit NYC, unless you enjoy icicles hang off your butt. The second worst time is August when the entire city feels like a sauna.
ОтветитьWhere is the new home?
ОтветитьI’m going in a week and still don’t know where to stay. I’m broke asf but need to go. Let me know if you have any recommendations
ОтветитьHi Sarah I just returned from a 7 days trip to NYC, I wanted to leave a comment about Holafly, because I found out about them in your videos. As soon as I got to JFK I bought their eSim card, it was hell. The 24/7 assistance is not, I could not make it work. I send messages through the web page an WhatsApp, it was very frustrating after s long trip. I got answers at 8 am, I arrived at 3.30 am. The assistance was very good though and they were able to fix the problem. The second point, it does not work all around the world, I was at Colombia and the internet did not work, again a response at 8 am, snd it just does not work in Colombia!
ОтветитьDo as the locals do: sleep on the street, it’s free 🙃
ОтветитьGoing to NY in January 2024 for a business trip. Will stay in the Intercontinental NY Barclay in Manhattan for around USD 300 per night. Not bad.
ОтветитьI live in New York City and I know some places more interesting than that more cheaper also uptown Manhattan even in Queens close to my older brothers house in Long Beach Long Island, where my older sister lives at in the Bronx. I have family there and also. In Brooklyn I also have family there. I come from a big family and were divided in all the boroughs in New York City. My favorite is in Long Beach because there is less foot traffic although there is more crazy but there is crazy everywhere I come from Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York.
ОтветитьDang. You're idea of "without going broke" is a bit different than mine. :D ...luckily there are affordable places. Staying in Downtown Brooklyn in February. $120-ish night. Also great train options there.
ОтветитьWhere I want to stay? With my son who lives also in LIC (Beautiful one befroom with a balcony and nice view). We can go workout together at Barry's, walk to Multisweet where I can have their delicious ube cake with a hot Americano. I also want to experience the LIC waterfront. Looking forward to spending Christmas with him.
ОтветитьAll prices are high no matter what's said. Anywhere in NY, its expensive. That's why half a million people left the state moving out to either another state or country.
Ответитьsim price doesnt make sense. $19 for 5 days but jumps to $27 for 7 days
ОтветитьI'm going to NYC in March. Love your videos. They're incredibly useful. Regards from Chile.
ОтветитьHey Sarah wr are coming for the Christmas and will need your expertise how do I contact you
Ответитьwow the prices 😯😯
ОтветитьHi! I am a woman coming soon to NY alone, and I was wondering if you have any tips for going from midtown to Long Island City at night. I am seeing a show at Lincoln Center that lets out around 10 and in other videos you’ve mentioned that it’s not the best idea to take the subway that late but are there any other safer options? Should I “splurge” in an Uber?
Thanks so much for your videos, they’ve been tremendously helpful and very entertaining ❤
Ahh man… i booked my trip already for this summer at the NY marriot in TS. Thanks for this though as I could cancel it 🤔
ОтветитьOh sarah is gorgeous in that skirt man.❤
ОтветитьI’ve personally stayed at the Aloft in LIC … love that place! And the rooftop too!
I kinda hate that you put it on the video cuz I didn’t want it to get too popular 😂
Dont look if theres microtransaction.
ОтветитьAloft during holiday season is $250? That’s a bold lie since it’s $450 on their website. Stop spreading false info
ОтветитьVery informative video... Do you have any recommendations for Coney Island Hotels? Thanks for sharing beautiful lady😘😘😘xox
ОтветитьWhat a great video! Thanks for the tips!
ОтветитьFrom January 16–February 4 save on Broadway shows with 2-for-1 tickets. As long as your coming in hotel low season….
ОтветитьAwesome Video
ОтветитьWe stay at the Hyatt in Long island city. I got a 2 bedroom suite for me, my wife and 3 kids for less than $280 canadian back in late Feb 2023. Also, they gave me in and out parking at the hotel for $30 usd per day. We stayed for 3 nights, sunday to Wednesday.
ОтветитьHi Sarah
We just stayed in NYC au hotel Riu Times Square. Rooms are nice, but small. We didn't spend much time there as there is so much to see and do, our feet now hurt. You have a gourous city
look at this view?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьHi Sarah , what about stays in hostel ? Is it safe ? I see the prices are much cheaper when compared to hotel or airbnb
ОтветитьThis I just love . Where to stay in Ne York City without going broke .Here goes are you ready for this . Stay with the migrants , and you may even get a free ride home , and go home with extra cash , when your holiday is over .
ОтветитьHotel Elysee & Iroquois hotel!
ОтветитьStay in New Jersey and take the ferry or bus in. You get a good room and get a break.
ОтветитьFrom South Africa. We stayed at The Williamsburg (Arlo) in Feb 2023. its the best.
ОтветитьLast year my husband and I stayed in the New Yorker, very small corner room, very loud but what a view!! In May we will come to NY again for 10 days. This time we will stay in NJ.. It was a very long discussion. We will come with our 16 year old son and we want some privacy for him. In NJ we found an hotel with a separate bedroom, a kitchen and seating area and NY views for only $2500,- We want tot rent a car so we can discover uptown NY.
ОтветитьWhy are any of these a "Steal or Deal"? Sounds like she is getting paid to plug hotels. You can literally get a hotel with a microwave and fridge for around $100 MANHT. now.
ОтветитьHi! You are incredible as always!
ОтветитьI stayed at The Flat NYC on W 24th St in the Flatiron District, really central to all the main tourist sites and attractions and had some good food options nearby. Rooms were a little small which is typical of big city hotel rooms in NYC, London, Paris etc and there were shared bathrooms but overall it was comfortable and the staff were really friendly, also free water, tea and coffee in the lobby.
It was about $216USD per night which was not bad value given it was pretty centrally located, I’d recommend it to people wanting to stay in midtown Manhattan.
didn't realize how pricy New York was for just finding a hotel
managed to find 2 spots over a week upcoming stay for under 200
I am a native, and I feel the prices are still very high. when you factor in food, train, drinks, coffee ect. It depresses me how much traveling is.
ОтветитьBeautiful suggestions! Love your outfit and thank you for the vlog. Greetings from Melbourne, I returned home after living in NYC last year so nice to see NYC at its best!
ОтветитьHi Sarah.
Awesome video
Sheepshead Bay has 3 Hotels. 2 are on Emmons Ave. Neighborhood is very safe.
Yes Williamsburg is still the Hipster vibe the Arlo Williamsburg which you showed I walked past it last and the outside is beautiful
Transportation in Williamsburg is can be challenging. L train at Bedford Ave. J and M trains at Marcy Ave. G train crosstown Nassau st ( Greenpoint). Numerous Buses at Williamsburg Bridge Plaza.
