"Best CliftonStrengths / StrengthsFinder Strengths to have" is relative. No matter what your results are, they still need to be developed. I love hearing about everyone's particular results mix and how they use them. What are your Top 5, and what's the Best Quality you love about you?

My Top 5 are: Connectedness, Relator, Belief, Responsibility, and Adaptability. And I've come to appreciate how I'm always tying everything to the bigger picture (Connectedness). It makes it easier to focus on what matters - or more importantly, what I choose to matter.

You literally answered nothing!

connectedness is also #1 for me, i guess that may explain why we have the same opinion on the topic. at least from my experience, most people don't have this trait..

i don't have the most common strengths as my top 5, but discipline is in my top 5, which is a least common strength. personally, i think the ideal top 5 should be foundational skills - like discipline (#4 for me), self assurance (#16 for me), intellection (#2 for me). without these skills it's more challenging to build other skills.... but i could be biased.

I just discovered you and your videos a couple of days ago, and I've really been enjoying your content.

My top 5 strengths are: Ideation, Input, Learner, Intellection, and Achiever.

When I first discovered my strengths, I was pretty disappointed - most of my top 5 just felt like "thinking" but not "doing" strengths, except for Achiever, which can be a double-edged sword and I was in a negative space with it at the time (I mostly experienced the negative effects of raging at myself for not achieving something every day because I had no goal and was just drifting at the time).

Since that time, I've taken a lot of control of my life and created my own path, and leaned hard into things that work for me and tried my best to let go of things that didn't.

To-do lists were a game changer for me, and I feel so much better with Achiever.

Taking time to appreciate the value my thinking strengths add to my life, and leaning into my writing, which hits all of them in such a great way and so feels satisfying and gives me energy, has really improved my relationship with myself.

I think my favorite of my top 5 is Ideation, which brings me so much joy in my day job, my writing, and with those around me. Learning more about it has allowed me to recognize how it can positively affect others (hitting my #6 Connectedness and #10 Positivity as well).

you know, it’s interesting… I wonder if the people who are asking about the best, Strank’s, and considering strengths as weaknesses… Are those folks who have restorative in their top talent?

I ask because it’s someone who has restorative, that’s how I think.

for someone who has restorative, I constantly look for problems (mainly the problems that are keeping me from the next level of success), and then I seek to solve them. But on a relational level, always looking for relational problems can create a culture of shame , and not enough Ness.

anyways, just some thoughts after thinking about your video

(this is my intellection coming out. lol)
