Ranking the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Bosses from Easiest to Hardest

New DLC Bosses Xu Chu, General of Heaven Illusion and Demonised Dian Wei are new formidable challenge. Almost everyday will have request from random players to help complete those missions

On my opinion General of man was the most hard boss, only because you have to understand how deflect works

Bro the abomination in the burnt capital was the second hardest boss for me wtf how is he so low

switch Aoye and Blindfold, and put Zhang Jiao at the bottom and you pretty much have my list

I find Clobber Cat pretty easy considering a boss can be easily distracted by your allies I use them for distracting bosses but without them I find the battle a little harder but still easy

If i had to rank them (excluding dlc and basing on how many times i died to each boss) id say
1:zhang liao is by far the hardest for me but the most enjoyable as well. The adrenalin i got from beating him was so damn eurphoric.
2:lubu (demon form) i honestly didnt enjoy this fight but i emjoyed how they stayed true to the RoTTK lore and that instead of being villianized he was more of a anti-hero
3:lubu (normal) definitely was a hard one but just like zhang liao was very rewarding
4:zhang Liang dude took hours to beat but god did i feel great after beating him in the demo, mace beating him in the full game slightly easier so instead of hours (7) it took hours (4 😅)
5:aoye got stick on it for like an hour and a half
6:dong zhuo getting hit with poison daggers upon entry was just bullshit and he hit really hard as well.
7:hua xiong dude was just a unit early game plus the damn ballistas take a significant portion of your health if hit so he had that to his advantage since they only fired upon seeing you
8:xiahou dun
9:liu bei both were just annoying to fight honestly.
10:blindfolded boy him being able to parry caught me off gaurd but thats it
11:zhang rang had i not figured out the gimmick i definitely wouldve rate this higher but again i figured it out and he can be stun locked if you have a fast enough weapon

Honerable mention is the sub battlefield where you had to fight 3 npcs at once PRE nerf, overly aggressive without 0 room for error, im glad they nerfed that specific sub battlefield but damn they couldve done it earlier it felt like i was fighting a actual dark souls boss so to those who beat it PRE nerf as well come grab a beer with me 😊.

Why is it that, when Chinese is converted to the English alphabet, the spellings almost never match up with how the words are actually pronounced? When Japanese is translated to the alphabet, words sound mostly how they're spelled, i.e. "Domo Arigato" sounds like "doe-moe-ah-ree-gah-toe." But that's not always the case with Mandarin, and I've never understood why. If the name "Zhuge Liang" is actually pronounced "Joo-guh Lee-ahng," why is it not translated in a more phonetically correct way? The only other languages I've ever seen do this are the Celtic ones from Ireland and Wales and such (seriously, how is the name "Siobhan" supposed to be pronounced "Shuh-vawn!?"), and I'd really like to know why this is.

The first boss took me 4 hours but now it’s going smooth. Reminds me of the Sekiro experience I had.

As someone who's decent on deflecting, I'm loving Wo Long bosses.
Lu Bu is the hardest and best boss.
The first boss is the second hardest, it's bonkers he is supposed to be the tutorial boss.

I killed blindfolded boy even in first try but that dragon after yuji state killed me about 10 times😂.I have finished my gameplay tdy.
Bosses that kicked my ass are
Dragon after Yuji stage and Liu Bei

The bosses that I won in 1st try are Dong Zhou,blindfolded boy,and the one who has arrow in his eye.
May be 1st luck if i have to fight them again

Zhang Rang (shadow clone guy) is super easy don’t fight the clones only him and u can beat him in like 15 seconds

If you played the final boss-rush side mission or fought him in rising dragon difficulty, you’ll understand. DeMod said the only thing keeping him from top 5 was low damage, and I’d agree….. until you get to the RD version and his decade long windups almost always 1-shot you.

Combine that with his absolute TANK of a health bar, and you got a new top 1. 🙄

dong zhuo (prostitute lover) was for me much harder than where you put him for me. i would have put him at number 2 personally. 3 at a push.

Lu Bu, Zhang Rang, Zhang Liang is definitely the hardest for me. They are harder on NG+.

Zhang Liang was hard before patch 1.05. I was so thankful because when you fight Lu Bu you know your able to beat him.

Hardest boss besides Lu Bu? Dian Wei's Demon form in DLC1 Flies around like Dragon Liu Bei along with Yan Liang(Sand Demon Guy) speed and range with both lightning and tornadoes coupled with his 1/2 hit killmoves and sweeping spin attacks that made Link from LoZ Jealous

I literally can't get past the first boss, it's so bad I uninstalled the game.

Finally decided to watch this video today after resolving myself once and for all that there was no way I'd ever buy this game so I don't care about spoilers. It's getting torn to shreds on Steam for its appalling and miserable performance issues, with only 25% out of the last 480 reviews being positive, bringing the overall score down to an absolutely wretched 46% from almost 17,000 reviews. Maybe it's just that Koei Tecmo (like all Japanese game publishers) doesn't give even a quarter of an ounce of freeze-dried shit about PC gamers and so did an absolutely pathetic zero-effort port which they quite simply can't be arsed even trying to fix and the game would be perfectly fine on a console, but here's the thing- I'm not a console gamer any more, and if a game's PC port is shit, it's officially a Shit Game. So yeah, Imma get all my experience of this game from this video. Let's hope it's somewhat entertaining, because I'm sure the game wouldn't be.

The only thing i dont like so far is that it feels like there is a boss fight every 2 feet. The boss fights are really good once you get the mechanics down... and let your commards do most of the heavy lifting 👀..

I loved playing this game disregarding the critic/hate towards it. I think the combat was super fun and interactive.

This is one of those comes where i finish it , i manage to beat a lot of bosses first try , even the harder 1 yet even by the end i still had no idea wtf is was doing or if i was even good at the game

Lu bu, the tutorial boss and aoye absolutely destroyed me in their boss fights XD

First boss is the worst IMO. Teaches the wrong lessons at the time.

Lu bu is either the hardest or second hardest boss in the game, but also the most balanced (he still has issues but he’s still cream of the crop by comparison). Took me so long to beat him that he went from enjoyable fight to grueling and completely devoid of fun, meaning he became technically the worst boss in the game to me.

A tip for Zhang Rang if you use the skill of healing whil damaging then is becamos a walk in the park i never needed to heal myself with my items.

Should of kept nioh weapon mastery and stances but still added deflections..

I didnt have to much trouble with lu bu maybe 2 hours to beat. But I'm a day into demon lu bu and im pretty sure he has shoved each hoove inside me multiple times, and I cant do anything about it 😂😂

Funny how most of your mid and high tier bosses gave me little to no difficulty at all, but Taotie and Yu Ji's 2nd phase kicked my ass so many times. But yeah, Aoye and Lu Bu also kicked my ass and took some time to beat.

Hi there dude! I know of a challenging game that you might like: Metroid Dread. It feels like a soulslike game because of how difficult avoiding the E.M.M.I.'s and beating the bosses. The reason why I say that because I feel like I died to the E.M.M.I.'s more then any soul's boss COMBINED. Thank you fro reading Democracy :)
