Try customizing the Jeep with giant outboard rubber-tire-less huge diameter pole spoked wheels with paddles for traction similar to hill climb spikes. I don't think that would be cheating.

Only in Australia man what of amazing feet I would have made it proper assistant but a I'm a forward thinker but that was really nice beautiful it could have been perfect but the steering wheel was on the wrong side my father bought a brand new 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser from our neighbor across the street who own the Toyota dealership and at the time my dad bought the show model because he liked everything about it and it had a cover on the spare tire that said this is not a Chevrolet it is a toy -let and it was supposed to be the dealers will cover but he sold it to my dad with the wheel cover on it and a couple of days after the sale Tom pageant the Toyota dealer came over to ask my father for the wheel cover back and he said when pigs fly everywhere we went that will cover got so many comments and stares and questions my dad and that Toyota took us over mosquito pass Independence Pass St Mary's Glacier everywhere all over Colorado on some of the hairiest four-wheel drive trails we belong to the mile high Jeep Club out of Denver we started calling it the mile high Land Cruiser Club that Land Cruiser constantly outperformed the Jeeps in the Broncos and anything else except for modified Crawlers but for the longest time our Land Cruiser was stock then I'll never forget the day he bought it he took his down to the farm and drove it straight into the creek and buried the bumper and the creek at that point was about 15 feet below the banks where it had cut through a high spot so he looked it us and looked at his wife and said don't worry about it I got this you got out of the cruiser pulled up the winch cable on the front bumper looked into a tree on the other side of the creek stayed outside of the vehicle he already had the hubs locked in and the transfer case was in4lo the transmission was in first gear and he started the truck that way and he engaged the PTO winch that was why he bought the floor model and away we crawled inch by inch it just wet a rump Pahrump Pahrump when we got to the top he hopped in the root neutral put the emergency brake on ran in the rest of the cable and away we went he had the biggest smile on his face it was as if he had single-handedly conquered the Germans in World War II I was certainly in all of him and I was only 9 years old good times good memories

Mate I'm from New Zealand over the ditch, all I can say is get a bunch of Australians (good buggers), a random idea, a few beers and a BBQ and boom. The human spirit is one of the few forces that can't be measured and Australians have amazing spirit.
