Team Andertons. 🤘❤️
Just preordered one of these beasts today. Can’t wait to play on it.
ОтветитьFantastique....😮
Ответить"Cool...but what does the INIT patch sound like?!" 😂 Sorry, the comments section was lacking in Synthnerd Smugitude. Just trynna do my part.😂
ОтветитьI do hope they put in to the JUPITER-X the oscillator sync & cross/ring mod sounds patches like the early Jupiters had please and sliders where the knobs are please just like the Jupiter's +Juno's please thank you regards
ОтветитьGreat video , looking at adding this to the korg atm. Might have to sell the fa08 first though ...😭
ОтветитьI don't want a great workstation, I want a great synth, I want a Jupiter 8! 😎
ОтветитьDang, I got a rack full of 90s synths, and an XV5080. Wouldn't it be nice to replace them all with a Jupiter X. I'm a lazy home studio rat anyway. I mostly use VSTs, but I do like real keyboards for some stuff.
Ответитьglad he's been taught how to use a Jupiter X, now he realises how cool it is without pre judging it on out of the box frustration :) there are other synths out there that i've owned that are waaaaay more complicated, jupiter makes sense after a short time.
ОтветитьI still don’t love the I arp. It’s not a particular sound I like… I never use it on mine.. most of the rhythms I can’t imagine in any genre. The updates still haven’t made it easy to just rock all the OG arp types.
ОтветитьDang! Jupiter just sounds so good 🤤
ОтветитьSo this is a Tesla, simulating a Ferrari
Ответитьbla bla bla
ОтветитьNice video, nice demo, but, it’s actually not a workstation!
ОтветитьThis Keyboard will do well.
A learning curve but it's worth it to delve into it .
It's a Tank which I ❤️.
Sounds great.
I have a 0B6.
MOOG XL.
MOOG MODEL D.
Going to pull the trigger on Jupiter X.
Its a computer yes
ОтветитьGet rid of the god damn subliminal hand gel knukel fire children scrub!
ОтветитьAhhh, a R, a M and a S Filter, but you cannot say the name, haha, but they are allowed to build it in finally right , or its illegal ??.... Freaking bullshit really...
Haha, and why no O filter ??
Bloody love this intro to it! Best one I’ve watched
ОтветитьSeems a great instrument. Does anyone know whether it's also got any of the acoustic samples on it? Brass, saxophones, etc.?
Thank you
The thing that really makes system 8 special isnt the amazing vintage synth emulations, its the incredible System 8 main engine that nobody mentions in videos about that synth. Its a powerhouse with some unique abilities. Good news for Roland Cloud users is you can access the System 8 main engine in a plug-in on their Cloud service.
ОтветитьAfter many conversations and watching these demos...my opinion is...If you have Roland Fantom with the model expansions you don't need the $2600 Jupiter X. This was a question I had for more than a few people .
I was given a bum stear and had an X for for 6 days, it cost me $100 in BS fees...but...I now have a Polybrute on the way. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
What's the reference to the records underneath?
ОтветитьDoes it have that Juno chorus?
ОтветитьIce cube said, "I have to say it was a good day"
ОтветитьInitially a steep learning curve but, once you've got it, you've got it. Remembering back to the U + D series. Very similar file/sound management concepts. The models do exactly as expected. A bit of practice for some of them.
ОтветитьI finally understand Roland's vision. This is incredible!
Need to get my hands on this!
The I-Arpeggiator is Roland’s answer to Karma about 18 years late. Edit: I wonder if it is possible that the patents on Karma prevented Roland from practicing similar technology.
ОтветитьWell, there is one person who thinks speakers in a synthesizer are a good idea. They add extra weight and cost.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the guy from Roland? Andy what?
ОтветитьBeast of a synth. I want one. Now.
ОтветитьIt's baffling to see that the Jupiter 8 only had two oscillators so you can only choose two on the Jupiter 8 engine and the other two oscillators just aren't available. What are these guys thinking?
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьThis is peak Roland. Recycle a famous product name, make questioning style decisions, insert a lot of nonsense (the "room temp" feature is this decade's "D-Beam"), jam it full of Groovebox era PCM/rompler sounds, and stick in a tiny screen. Oh and at no stage actually give users... an actual Jupiter.
Seriously try to imagine the engineers, designers and product manager looking at the product backlog and picking "age sound" and "room temperature" as features to work on. Instead of "build an actual modern Jupiter". What must they be thinking when assigned such pointless features? I can't imagine Dave Smith sitting down after 20 years and saying "okay team, it's a PCM sampler based Prophet nd we're going to emulate the rust on church pipe organs".
Does this have the same keybed action as the roland fantom 6 or 76?
ОтветитьLots of hate all over the web for this Synth and the Roland Cloud in general. I don’t get it. A great tome to be a synth player or musician. Spoiled for choice.
I’ve got the yearly cloud subscription and love it.
Jupiter 8 was used at PWL
ОтветитьOh, you have Falco in there?!
ОтветитьSynth snobs are worse than guitar snobs. Why are people hating on this thing?
ОтветитьJupiter X feels & sounds like a Jupiter
ОтветитьThis is the best synth ever created. I need it now and I'm going to sell a nut
ОтветитьAdverts ruined this video
ОтветитьNATE DOGG HAD TO REGULATE
ОтветитьThis synth really needs that screen and UI from the MC-707, right there in the middle, on a 8-10" screen.
That'd be so comfy.
That was a great review.
ОтветитьDoes the i arprgiater have a cheese knob? Control the amount of cheese?
ОтветитьSo, I would love some clarity. Can i load a Jupiter x patch onto my fantom 6? Sounds like the advertising says yes, but the reality is.... no?
I would like to load patch 1a of the Jupiter x into my fantom 6... where can i download this patch please? How is it done?
I was told that this is the highlight feature of Zencore. Exchanging patches. Please clarify!
