What Super Mario 3D All-Stars is Missing

I think Mario 3D All-Stars should have these games:

Super Mario 64 + 64 DS
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2
Super Mario 3D Land
and
Super Mario 3D World
(Bowser's Fury as DLC For 3D world)

While the representation of the intro to the games be like:

SM64+DS the castle.
Super Mario Sunshine in the airport.
Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 in the comet observatory
Super Mario 3D land in the Mushroom Kingdom
And . . .
Super Mario 3D world + Bowser's fury in the glass pipe/black goop.

While settings are in Professor E. Gadd's laboratory and Music is in the Isle Delfino café.

I really wanted it to be like the snes all stars game, it had almost a museum feel to it.

Mario galaxy 2 is in the game you have to beat every game first then go to Mario 64 and go to L is real then you’ll unlock Mario galaxy 2

I found this game used at game stop for $65 today.
First of all, what a steal since it costs $23,000 online
Second of all, I get to play Mario sunshine for the first time
Third of all, the person who traded it in was the world's dumbest person and probably only got $3 for it
Fourth of all, if Nintendo hired you I would buy every game even if it's $15 shovelware hot garbage
Fifth of all, I'm excited to replay Mario Galaxy

They could of made it so that it’s a art gallery if Mario’s history with you having to clean the museum up in different ways to be able to actually play the different games to add more playability into it

I never knew this was limited release and a few days after sonic frontiers came out I was thinking of either ordering frontiers or 3d all stars I settled on all stars and went to look it up and it wasn’t in GameStop so I checked the e shop and it wasn’t there either and I looked up why that was and found out about it’s limited release and I was really sad bc I really wanted to try out super Mario galaxy and sunshine

This is from 2 years ago and nintendo has not done Mario galaxy two on the switch

What Super Mario 3D All-Stars is missing is not new adwork on the cover whats missing is Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 64 DS

Honestly, Super Mario 64 DS is kinda my ideal remastering of the original games at least aesthetic/presentation-wise: it made the game (namely, its art style and some sound effects) feel a lot more recognizably 'Mario' without completely yass-ifying it to a point that it looks like an NSMB game. So my ideal 3D All-Stars remaster of SM64 would be doing that similar sort of reworking. It doesn't need to be the DS version in every way, but having some of those more 'Mario' aesthetic elements instead of stock textures like the original game had would be infinitely better and may even help offset some of the "creepy" vibes the N64 original gave off. I think dialing back the reverb on many of the sound effects and leaving Mario's voice clips at their normal pitch would be helpful towards that as well.

You could also incorporate Luigi, finally! Maybe after getting your first few stars, let's say three, you get a cutscene showing a pipe shoot out of the ground nearby the star statue and out jumps Luigi! Playing as him is more or less like swapping between Crash and Coco in N. Sane Trilogy: go up and talk to Luigi and a text box will show up asking if you want him to join your adventure; hit "Yes", and then you'll be able to choose which brother to play as in mission select before each course, or even switch between the two in the castle with the press of a button. Like in many games Luigi jumps a bit higher, moves a bit faster with less ground traction, and keeps his backflip twirl from the DS version.

Btw why is nobody complaining that Mario 64 DS isn’t on switch?!
This is a important game in Nintendos game library. It’s even playable on the Wii U.
Yet it seems to be more forgettable then 3D land

If they were to port 3D Land to the Switch, they could use 3D World as a basis as the games are similar and have relatively the same physics. (minus the 3nd stage of speed and the general fact that they changed it to be faster than the Wii U's dash speed)

Also, yeah it definetly is a marketing ploy to encourage more sales. And yet, they keep it on Amazon still regardless of the fact it's 2022. :-/

I got the game for Christmas and they probably had no idea that it was limited ( including me until now lol)

I'm late, but Limited Release really sucks. Personally, I bought it on Day 2 and it was the last one in the shop. Meanwhile, in an electronic store in the nearest big town, there are still physical copies of 3D All Stars :)
Since no one comes into an electronic store to buy a Switch Games (especially in France), they have too much, so they're still up on sales ^^

The thing that made me really upset about this game, is that Nintendo patched the BLJ (Backwards Long Jump) from Super Mario 64 :c

You know wat would be cool with the loading screens... before I add my opinion I want to remind everyone of this, mario when left afk after a little bit will take a rest or do a little waiting/impatient emote. So if u leave ur game on afk in the menu princess peach will walk by the paintings or bowser should stomp around the castle with mario in chase. In sunshine the paint on the floor should slowly turn into the bad paint and then make the toad scream and run off. And finally in galaxy, the castle should float up in the background or a homage to mario galaxy 2, yoshi and mario jump into the star jump thing and blast off
