ah so that's where absolomb came from.
ОтветитьThis needs to come back.
Ответитьyep :°)
ОтветитьTravis how do you feel now that the fast ones will be on P3? Are you as stoked as me?
ОтветитьStarted learning this... now looking at bar 34, died.
ОтветитьI have a question, did Travis Orbin create the drums in the "Periphery" album?
ОтветитьWell, actually, no, at least not the way I think of it. Meshuggah's bass pattern goes DADA da da DADA da da, and this is FRAP da da FRAP da da, the difference being that the pattern in bleed is written as two 16th and two 8th notes, and this is a flam and then two 8th notes, and a flam, in my mind, is less of an interval than two 16th notes :)
ОтветитьThey still be flamdiddles.
ОтветитьObviously not the same ;)
ОтветитьHaven't you heard of Bleed?
ОтветитьHaha . he owns it :D
ОтветитьYo Travis, how much do you bench/squat/deadlift?
ОтветитьMangini was the first. Orbin is not far behind by any means.
Ответитьyou were first "the machine" always the orbinator and machine.....
ОтветитьWhy won't The Fast Ones be released?
ОтветитьI think I prefer this style (the overall song style, I mean) to new Periphery. Is that why The Fast Ones won't be released, because it's so different from the new style?
ОтветитьPeriphery is now a completely diferent band.
ОтветитьWRONG!
ОтветитьThose aren't flamadiddles. img684(dot)imageshack(dot)us/img684/7765/notflamadiddles(dot)png
Ответить@gseeber1 The numbers correspond to the MIDI file, I believe. If you spend even 5 minutes looking at the transcriptions you can figure most of them out, although I'm almost positive he has a legend some where.
ОтветитьDo you read the transcriptions in numbers like that? Is there some kind of legend to explain what each is?
Ответить2:08 flamdiddles with double bass? what in the....
ОтветитьIt's like he sets up his kit to best suit his style and maneuverability instead of just setting it up to look cool for the audience (which there is nothing wrong with that)
ОтветитьIs it a Pearl Reference brass snare 14x6,5 ? Just a wild guess :D
ОтветитьWow your new TRX cymbals sound way better than these.
Ответить@winnerbaby44 I didn't see what was impossible D:
Ответитьyou're great Travis ... you would make some new videos.
Ответитьsooooo legit!
Ответить1:16 "Why the hell am I not drumming right now?"
Ответитьyou sir, are a machine.. and i mean that in the best way possible (: haha that triplet pattern on the pedal at 2:07 - 2:11 is the BALLS. i know i'm not the only one, but your work amazes me without fail, everytime.
Ответить@ComfyNumb1989 type in "the fast ones periphery" and its the first result
Ответить@DarthRoy1292 I can't find it with vocals. :(
ОтветитьAre your eyes closed. If so do you find it easier to play the drums with your eyes closed rather than open?
ОтветитьWhere can I get this version(with vocals) of that song?
Ответить@leekwesi I can troll as I please, and maybe you do not value my opinion but maybe others do. Let me put this in "simpler" terms, I can say what I want, when I want, however I want to. I believe in freedom of speech. And so I say, go gargle on hot salty siemen!
Ответить@leekwesi You completey disregarded everything I said, proving that I am right. Please move on now.
Ответитьwait why was this guy kicked from periphery
Ответить@Shwasy your gay man, just look at your display picture HAHAHA gtfo
ОтветитьI prefer Matt Halpern, he plays more naturally with lots of groove and less robotic.
ОтветитьSuch a sexy man.
ОтветитьPEARL EXR :D i got the same one, Orbinator!
ОтветитьHow the hell can you use your dubble kick AND your hihat? :) You have like 3 feet or something?
Ответитьyour absolutely amaazing! buddy!
Ответитьi never thought of putting those types of pedal sideways >.< i learn something new each time i watch one of your videos. you have got to be one of the most difficult drummers to impersonate... i assume. im about 50 years too early to even attempt your simplest parts.
Ответитьi love you man.!>!!
Ответить...good god, i just erupted in laughter....LMFAO. so true btw. fuckin shaftninja indeed, keep up the amazing work travis! \m/
ОтветитьTravis. Your playing has a ridiculous amount of groove in it. I've seen most of your videos but theres some fills on this video that are really, really good. Amazing job.
ОтветитьI would love to see you part from the Periphery's "light" that you did! so much better than matt halperns. Even if you just have to transcription that would be awesome and i'd love to see it if you would like to give me a link :)
