Winter & My Traumatic Skiing Trip

I live in New Jersey,
Winter is too cold and summer is too hot.

I live in Arizona too and every time we want to go skiing we just go to Flagstaff. I know you went to California because of family but the next time you want to go by your self just head up to Flagstaff and go to Snowbowl it is so fun! Lol I have also had a traumatizing experience on one of the hills.

Luckily Jaidens "deal" ignores me and I have every right to complain about our barely cold winters and (until recently) barely warm summers. I'm a child of autumn, if it's not dark, kinda cool but not cold, and raining, I'm miserable.

I'm from Minnesota and the winters are -50 degrees Fahrenheit and summers are 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit

I was living in Lake Tahoe and I had 18 feet of snow on the Christmas. Oh no not on the Christmas day it was him I don’t remember the day but it was big.

youd dad is not a great parent for letting you ski without a helmet

One time when I was like 4, all the parking spaces at the usual lot were gone, so we parked at the next one over. Turns out, you had to go down a The Wall-like run to get to the rest of the resort from that specific parking lot. It was basically a half hour of me in between my dad's skis, being held and slowly inching down, broken up by an occasional fall.

Then there was that time when a teacher took our group of intermediates down a super steep trail which basically was an ice sheet with piled up mounds of power on top. That wasn't fun.

Lmfao my dad took me on a black diamond when i was 5 or 6. It was at a ski resort he used to work at and i did pretty good. Ironically I was doing better than him. He had me hooked to him with a special harness and leash. Well, he fell, and little old me had no choice but to accept the fact that I was about to get yoinked back like a yappy Chihuahua at the end of its chain.

Yeah I’m from Europe and my dad use to take us to the Italian side of Alps. and that’s where I learned everything usually our coach or trainer as I skied with a group never took us anywhere difficult but I do remember this one time we ended up on a red diamond very (what’s the word )
bumpy vertical zone. Trail. So uh yeah I remember I practically cried afterwards even though my trainer was like hey don’t worry you survived but it was like tough man really tough.

I feel the same but I’m a Texan usually it’s burning hot but in the week of Christmas it’s fresh and I don’t because every other day it’s blazing hot.
