Thaumcraft 4 Tutorial: Alchemy (Crucible)

Thank you, I've been stuck on this for ages.

Instructions unclear I now own a NFT

i'm using thaumcraft 4 aswell, do you know a way to put a single aspect into it? mine keeps overflowing cause i need to use soulsand but soulsand has more than one aspect than i need, so basically it's deleting the aspects aka turning it into flux

and how do i get the nitor before the crucible works? cause i cant create an nitor without an nitor under the crucible

Advice to anyone doing crucible work, put a sign over it, reduces overflow and flux significantly.

You should change the name from Tutorial to fail. I came here looking how to make an item using alchemy. I guess you only made flux.

As much as I like thaumcraft the instructions are sometimes extremelely bad. as is the case with the crucible. I still got no fucking idea how to get those balanced shards.

Anyone else agree that the timing needs to be increased? Especially for beginners. This whole "You have 5 seconds until taint" deal is kinda stupid. Especially on complex recipes. It tends to just anger people...

Place a trap door over the top of the crucible. It won't be able to produce flux because there's a block in the way, but you can still toss items in.

Is there a way to input a single essence into the it?

So do you have to use the exact ingredients with no excess? For example I'm trying to create a Ethereal Bloom by using saplings, golden apples, Silverwood, and drops from taintacles but I think the excess of extra aspects are causing it to not work. Any help for a ThaumN00B? lol
