This will make an epic ending for the Series altogether, as much as I don’t want to see it end, you can’t deny the exciting climax in the comics ❤

If you watch and understand Generation V season 1 while understanding other details. We might get a variation of this plotline, but I hope it makes narrative sense and is satisfying to the audience.

I see why he did that, Billy wanted to prove a point to Huey and show him why he acts the way he does. When Huey learns his loved ones were hurt and everything was taken away from him, he doesn’t act any different that Billy. He shows Huey by example.

im really curious how true to this ending the show runners will stick. since they teased butcher finding the supe virus from the woods at the end of Gen V, i can see some similiar parallels. but with black noir gone i feel like the big homelander clone reveal being lost will take away from it. also, i dont think the showrunners will have the balls to kill everyone but huey and starlight off in the end lol

This is exactly why comics are so inferior to japanese manga, holy shit this is so cringe and unnecessarily edgy for the sake of being edgy, so glad the show drifted away from the source material

Everybody saying they hope the show doesn't end this way. I hope it does. It fits with Butcher's character. He could never accept sups. And him going off the deep end is what makes him a villain just as much as Homelander. People want him to be better, but that's not in him. The most human thing he could do is let the most innocent man he knew be corrutped by having to kill him. And THAT'S a kindness. Guy's a fucking monster. The whole point of this comic is that there's no such thing as heroes.
