So the ML Deformer for skin is basically baking the baked animation into blendshapes similar to Maya Bake Deformer To Skinning Tool.

ОтветитьI play Fernbus Simulator which used UE4 but just the other day (May 8 I think) they updated the engine to UE5. This took a 20Gb download for me and when I restarted the game...it looked the same. The bus had shiny new wheels but that was it. The rain graphics looked the same, there were vastly more glitches (a tractor spawning in the middle of a six-lane highway) so I wonder if they have simply ported the game into UE5 and left it without actually committing to any improvements. x

ОтветитьI'm no longer surprised, in unreal 5.2 just disappear shadows on objects in the distance. Each new version of the engine brings incorrigible bugs, there was a version 5.02 update to 5.03 broke imports datasmith c4d 5.1 broke lighting on the geometry of some objects, work with large animation became impossible because of the crashes. I use Unreal to create videos. But the stability of 5 unreal is extremely bad. The most stable was 4.26. I really love working with unreal engine thanks epic games for the new features and engine development, but fix the problems please

On a serious note UE 5.2 looks sick, looking forward to diving in.

ОтветитьI'll be happy when this technology is dumbed down sufficiently that I can actually use it. I am not a 'developer', and I don't want to be one. I just want to make cool stuff with this technology, without having to learn this incredibly dense interface created for code junkies.

ОтветитьEpic we appreciate the videos, maybe make two channels one for developers and one for us artists,we don’t really care how lumen works, we just care that now it does it better, this videos are not professionally done, lots of clutter in the video.
