For people around me I suggest libre wolf cause it is fire fox with easy privacy but for myself I am just used to have firefox with my rack of open source plugins and I believe that it might help me having security patch faster. I don't use tor often on my machine. I think that if I am in a situation where I should use tor, I should use in with tailsOS. Why going half way at this point. That is my way. I believe that we have multiple decent choices out there.

I switched from chrome to librewolf and it has been a bit of a pain to get off started. But now it's working pretty well. The two things I miss the most are webGL scripts (which is a javascript module that allows for hardware acceleration on videos, but that can also fingerprint you very hard) and web translation.

How is possible DECENTR browser is not on the list ?

Google (Chromium), Brave (Chromium), and very possibly Firefox (Mozilla) are discontinuing updates for their web browsers for Windows 7 and 8.1. Besides updating their OS, what can Windows 7 and 8.1. users do as far as having the most secure, privacy centered, internet compatible web browser and which one would it be with Brave (for example) off of the table?

Fingerprint resistance is a misleading term. That too is a fingerprint and a very unique one. It doesn't help without a mass effort of everyone doing the exact same thing.

I imagine that the reason why they don't take Arkenfox into account is because they want to keep it simple and avoid misunderstandings. I can see myself reading the site on a hurry, missing the clarification despite it being there, and thinking that they're talking about the browser out of the box.
