i have watched this every day since it was uploaded. i can't get enough of this guy's impressions on this hack. the coincidences that happen to make this gameplay so interesting are unreal.

This is what Mario felt like in my head as a kid lmao.

This game is how it felt to play super Mario 64 in my dreams when I was a kid

PLEASE play more dude. This hack has so much content that it's honestly a little discouraging when you realize you almost definitely can't experience it all. But there are still a ton of super cool things you haven't experienced so I really think another vid or two would be awesome!

Watching you play this and MyHouse.WAD was a trip because
on one hand, it doesn't hit the same if you're not familiar with the game
but on the other hand, you're like a kid, playing a haunted game for the first time and not knowing what's real and what's not

I wonder what would happen if you DIDN'T forget about that wall that looks like a bricked up door. If you kept trying to interact with it would it keep saying "You get a bad feeling from this wall. Best to forget about it" or would it change?

I used to dream about SM64 on occasion when I was small, and the environments in them looked basically identical to everything until the very end of the hack.

It's strange to see something that literally looks like it's been pulled straight from my subconcious...

I'm finding this video so interesting, not just from the hack itself, but getting little hints and peeks into your childhood, and especially how unique it is! my childhood was strictly nintendo consoles growing up with a Wii and Gameboy Advance SP, but hearing someone got exposed to plenty of different corners of the gaming world, with you having a Playstation as a home console, and a Gameboy Color as a handheld. . .I just find that so cool! if you ever read this, I'd love it if you told me how you saw the other consoles, and if you ever had "that one friend you had with an Xbox360 and Halo" like I did growing up? did that ever make you consider getting or asking for a different platform? I also know that in your "from the fog" series that you also had a computer you could access regularly growing up. for me, I could only play minecraft on my grandma's desktop computer every other weekend or so...and hearing someone could grow up with that, along with consoles with very, very different libraries...I can't help but wonder!! anyways, I hope you have a good day Mr. Librarian, and keep up the good work!

SO happy you're playing this one!! the fact that you've never played SM64 made this a very intriguing watch; hearing you speculate what is actually from the game vs what isn't. this is one of my favorite ROM hacks to watch people play because it's different every single time, and some of the rooms/areas you explored were ones I haven't seen before! please continue this if you enjoyed it - there's still so much more to see, and I genuinely get super excited whenever you cover a game I really like (Infra is another one!) because your reactions and commentary is so unique compared to other folks who play the same games. thanks for sharing your experience with this one, though! genuinely enjoyed it <3

Not trying to ruin everyone's fun, I'd honestly like t0 see how this game plays out, but I do have to give out a warning..
If this is the 1.0 version, then it's not sanctioned by the creator. There's been some drama involving development, and the original creator abandoned the hack because of it. To my knowledge, they do not like that the 1.0 release was made. I won't spoil, or say anything more, that research is up to you. I'm just giving a heads up because of the existence of that drama.

So excited to watch this! I was very into this hack for a little bit, even tried to make a map of the castle. Key word “tried,” lmao

The funny thing is when he asked “have we been here before” the level he was in was actually called The Familiar Floor

I definitely recommend checking out a game called "KinitoPET" eventually. I think it would hit all the marks you enjoy when it comes to horror games.

Never in a million years would I of expected you to play b3313! I’m glad you are planning on playing it more in the future as you definitely haven’t even seen close to 10% of what it has to offer both in areas and mind trickery ;) anyways one little tip for you is that you DO NOT look up a map if you get lost as it’ll ruin a lot of the mystery.
Instead you should make your own map of the game as you play through it! That’s of course if you feel like doing that though. Whatever floats your boat mr. librarian, have fun!

it's so cool to see you play this, it fits so well with all the stuff you make

I would greatly enjoy seeing another episode of you trying to explore this madness. For bowser battles, just spin your movement stick quickly. and I would recommend using ground pound move locations that seem...of interest.
I would suggest reading a map if it didn't have spoilers and be EXTREMELY convoluted. I couldn't follow your journey on it, that's how wild it is.

You actually had some incredible luck to have only the 1 door spawn at the start. Most people get the lobby with multiple doors. Yeah. This hack has some RNG.

I'd love to see a regular mario 64 vid as a companion to this one to help show the less obvious differences and to help with showing some more of that empty feeling the original had as well as the unironic horror segments it had for people who played it as kids

Having this be your first experience with Mario 64 is like having someone's first TV show be Twin Peaks.
