1. Agreement with your client that authorizes you to collect on this alleged debt.
2. Agreement that bears signature of the alleged debtor wherein he promises to pay the creditor.
3. Complete payment history on this account so as to prove that the debt amount you wish to collect is correct.

The only sent me a copy of a retail installment sale contract (w/ arbitration provision). It appears to me they failed to validate my debt. Am I right or wrong? Please help.. thanks in advance!

If the VALIDATION is incomplete from the creditor what do I do next. Every letter I sent out, they sent a VERIFication. They did not send half of the items I requested.

Why do I have social security number variations on my credit report? second one is not mine and ends 4 different numbers. Also, when I pull up my credit reports on all 3 burueas I always get this security question about a mortgage I have. I have never had a mortgage. Nothing about a mortgage actually shows up on my credit report though. weird. Also, is it true that if you validate debt you can sometimes be sued by the collector?

I’m still going through your videos so I haven’t found it yet but I’m trying to find the video where you explain how to validate my debt. I may find it by the time someone responds though. I have a debt I forgot I had and I’ve been paying on everything else but this one and I can’t afford to pay it all off. I know I’ve screwed up but I need to somehow stop this. At least in Texas, you can’t be jailed for debt.

The debit is from 2008 eleven years ago. I knew nothing about it until a few months ago. The collection agency sent me a form and they wanted a copy of my signature. I refuse to send them a sample of my signature cause if they don't have it then they would have a copy to forge. I informed them the statue was up a long time ago and since they can not collect I see no point in filling out any forms.
