Cool backpack!

I bought the 30l about 6 months ago, and its a good bag and great design for the 'most' part with some good features, BUT whats missing is the ability to divide one of the long compartments into 2 to allow for a couple of smaller lenses in the same comparment slot (i.e. 24-70mm and 14-30mm) without them bashing against each other all day: otherwise you're putting each one in each of the other large compartments and they are rolling around all day long in a big compartment on a hike (prob not great for them). This needs to be remedied so you divide one of the slots in half. Can't understand why this wasn't factored in. Yes, i've tried turning down one of the compartments at the top, but thats not a great option as the remaining bit is still too large for a normal lens and rolls around all day long, and the top bit is just a bit too small. Why was this not thought of ??? .... I keep going back to my crappy old camera bag as a consequence, or I have to put my 2 smaller lenses each in a lens case inside the bag, which defeats the object of a camera bag, plus more time consuming to access your lenses (as well as a small amount of extra weight and reduces space unnecessarily). And ideas how to get round this ????

No question this is my favorite backpack, the best I have seen and better, I own it, the 30L

I just got my everyday travel backpack. So many great design features. One thing that would be nice would be to have some sort of collapsible cover, much like a rain fly, but for putting on the bag when you have to stow it under your airplane seat with all the Unmentionable nastiness from everybody else’s shoes. Awesome design however, it’s been fun to get to know my new bag

I think the backpack looks really good and thank you for the video. There are two things that I'm not sure about. I am about to go for 6 weeks in Central America and even if I might not need it, I would like more security. When the extension is used, particularly if it is at the very top, it looks like a hand can reach into the opening of the bag. The second one is that has Peak Design thought of using slash proof material for the parts where you secure the zip?

I definitely want to see more Heritage Tan. I have been holding onto my field pouch and Everyday 20v1 in hopes you would coming out more packs in heritage tan. I’m ready for an upgrade!

Just got my 20L Bag, watched your video, loaded it up, and absolutely love the bag. It's well balanced even when loaded with my 16" laptop. Would also love the pocketable tote bag, and can you tell me where to order the tech field pouches.?I was one of your original Tripod kick starter followers and love your product. Will you ever develop a light weight rolling camera bag--with airlines limiting carry-on to 7-10 kilos, the camera bags existing are weigh too heavy?

I was looking at other backpacks since I've had my 30L everyday backpack for about 2 years now. Wanted a change, something fresh. Honestly, after 3 hours of research and finding this video again, I am happier than ever with my purchase. It reminded me why I purchased it on the first place. Amazing and thoughtful desing, nothing on the market comes close to my needs. If you're one the fence about different backpacks, just get this one. Best decision ever.

Is there an upper weight limit for what I can use the external carry straps for?

While I love this bag and the water resistance is good enough for a quick dash through the rain, it is a far cry from "WEATHER PROOF". 6 minutes in a substantial downpour and the laptop compartment was soaked. I honestly thought that the main compartment was going to be the weak point due to the quick access flap and while there was some leaking and a small amount of water pooling in the bottom of the bag, it was significantly more dry than my laptops would have been had they been in the laptop compartment. Definitely get a rainfly if you plan on being in the rain for a long period of time.

Why do you put the troller cord on horizontal? If you have a bottle of water on the side you'll need to put the bag horizontally on the luggage roller handle. Why didn't you make that verticaly? In a way that a bottle on the side will sit standing verticaly

Just ordered my V2 20L today

For anyone watching, you can also throw an airtag or tile in one of the pockets incase it ever gets lost you can find it. Personally I use a fabric adhesive waterproof patch that you can put an airtag inside and I put it on the top lid of the backpack.

This looks interesting. Will the V3 have a solution to the camera-destroying internal metal zipper?

Can you still use the top handle as a luggage passthrough like you could on the V1? It was nice being able to get the lid open while it sat on my suitcase. Less secure, but usually good enough.

Add dog sling or some sort of carrier.

Peak Design Pocketable Tote reminds me of my wife's Chico drawstring bags that she takes everywhere. But who wouldn't want PD branded bag? I certainly do!

Love the small comedy bits 😅 gorgeous backpack, got one lately and all the small Details are just awesome some. So much brainpower in These backpacks! One negative Thing - you cant fix the Straps from the belts so they wobble around or you have to loop them around the belt.
