Bro I just finished the movie and I’m having an emotional breakdown and literally can’t stop crying. This is so sweet and I can’t even explain it. It’s so sad and sweet and the perfect example of a love story that never really ends no matter how much they’ve been through. The 50’s are my favorite decade and I hope to love someone as much as they did one day and experience young love. I’m only 12 so I don’t love anyone yet but I hope I do. This movie is literally my favorite movie now. I’m still crying over the ending. 😭

I just can't conceive of this extraordinary film. It moved me down to aches. I am, I am gay, I am 52 and still single, the story of my life could be told as well, but it is not my story in here. I cried out my heart, I poured down my tears because this movie mirrors my whole life...sad, alone, hopeless. What I hate the most is, that at my 52 I never had or found this love, but for me it is so unfair that they had that love; and life just took that love away from them their entire life, such a waste. Just sad. How come they learnt to go on without the love they had once. Just crying my heart out.

This movie was so underrated by the critics. This is a classic because of its message of how we shouldn't be afraid to love who we really want to in life. That we should follow who our heart chooses and not be afraid to go against what society's norms dictates. Harry, you blew me away......you were magnificent! The chemistry between Harry and David's love making scenes were the best I've ever seen on screen they were so tender and so beautifully done. David Dawson your charismatic performance, mannerisms and your narration about how Tom and Patrick met, and how the relationship evolved and was nurtured made this beautiful movie come to life...

Just saw the film. Cried through all of it. But I really could not get over the fact that Marion lived her life in deception. I mean I totally get the fact that being homosexual wasn't and still isn't easy but taking advantage of another person's feelings no matter the sexual preference will always be unacceptable for me.

Yet another movie in the series "men are idiots, how could they even breathe without women". I remember when gay themed movies were about gay people, not THE MESSAGE.

This was such a piece of crap. So let me understand, the police guy was a virgin, he gets blown by the museum guy and then he comes back drunk and goes on and bottoms? First not every gay does anal, second you don't just sit on it, anal requires physical and mental preparation. A lot of the movie was absurd, but sexually this was the most riiculous part.

I just finished watching this movie. I shed a lot of tears at the end as Tom (Harry Styles) reunited with Patrick(David Dawson).This is a very passionate love story and I couldn't believe being gay in the 1950ś in England was a criminal offence and gays had to be secretive for fear of persecution.

All of them suffered, but Patrick suffered more, seeing his love get married, went to prison, got tortured in prison, and when he got out probably didn't get a decent job because of his record and lived off in the streets thinking about Tom. Goshh!!
