The RC51 is super special.
ОтветитьThe Bandit 1200 is fed by carbs so you contradict yourself by saying not to get the carburettor fuelled SV650. Duh.
ОтветитьGot a ninja 300 lol. Feels good to finally make a list 😂
Ответитьits not reliability were worried about.its how they were treated.
ОтветитьHi there your forget honda transalp 600 and afrika twin 750 and yamaha xtz 750 super tenere and honda pan european 1100 and the honda vfr 750 rc 24/36/46 and yamaha v max 1200
ОтветитьFrom about 8 minutes in I was watching your nose run.
ОтветитьUsed to have a DRZ400 until it had an electrical failure and left me for dead between Ozona and Sonora. Never again..
ОтветитьI bought a 2007 Suzuki bandit 1250s because of Yammi Noob! Spent the past 5 months looking for the perfect one! Thank Yammie
ОтветитьYou praise the 2000 Bandit then say get the fuel injected sv650 because u just don't want a carburated motor bike??? And u said get the F4i, which i believe the i stands for injection and the previous model is carburated but just as impressive but cheaper. Now I had an 03 Bandit 1200 and it has carbs my friend and you didn't mention air/ oil cooled. Great bike but not modern at all.
ОтветитьRode my kz 750 twin like a klr for years, pounded some hard miles on it and never left me walking...lives that bike and regret selling it.but I got a klr for obvious reasons.
ОтветитьHonda CBF 1000
Ответить.....what? No mt/fz07?....😮
Ответить2002-2003 CBR954RR belongs on the list
ОтветитьMy first road bike was a 2006 ZX-6R. Bought it new. It was glorious.
ОтветитьOVERLOOKED 2001 Kaw ZRX 1200R … VOTED BEST NAKED …125HP … 125 MPH 1/4MI. 500#. I’VE HAD MINE SINCE NEW….
ОтветитьHonda Shadow should have made the list tho
ОтветитьI was gonna talk shit and say no DRZ 400, but I watched till the end first 😂
ОтветитьYummiest forgot the '99 honda shadow vlx600
ОтветитьVFR 750, VFR 800, FZ1.
ОтветитьHonda VFR 800
ОтветитьJust pickup and 07 Yam. FJR, $4500k, 3rd owner.....looks brand new..
ОтветитьI liked my fz1 ok, it was fast and reliable. Just something uncomfortable about it. Changed handle bars several times and lowered pegs and still would kill my forearms on rides over 2 hrs. It was too in between tucked in and upright where you really had to hold yourself up with your back or arms. Sold it and got an fjr1300 which I like much better
ОтветитьFz6 and zzr600 would be my picks. Maybe SV650 depending on condition
ОтветитьThe 2007.... Bandit 1250S is better than the 1200. It's liquid cooled instead of air/oil. It's fuel injected not carbureted it got 100 ponies + 79 ftlbs of TQ. And.... It's the only inline 4 I know of that has all of that torque available at 3700rpm and 70% of that torque at 1700rpm. You can roll on the throttle at 8mph in 5th gear and it won't bog, or chug... It just goes.....
Ответить2000-2001 Bandit 1200 were oil burners….it doesn’t rip wheelies stock. Good bike that is old school technology. It can be easily tweaked to become very fast. I owned a 2002 Bandit s and it was a great bike. No mention here but if you want an incredible power cruiser from 20 years ago, there is only 1. The Honda Valkyrie and its 6 carbs into 6 cylinders is one of best bikes you will ever ride. Huge, agile, torque and fast….i don’t know how Honda made a dragon that big, that handles better than you could believe.
ОтветитьDR-Z!👍
ОтветитьNeed to add the mighty V-Strom , it is soooooooooooo overlooked, especially by yammie,
ОтветитьI bought a '06 VFR800 ABS with 12k miles a year ago for $4700. It was a total bargain for a basically brand new bike. I couldn't be happier with it and i couldn't imagine having anythis else.
It took the place of my '97 Bandit 600 which I'm about to list for ~$1500 and is going to give someone else some cheap reliable good times.
I swear, everyone either forgets or has no idea that suzuki was also competing with Ducati with the v twin super bikes. Infact, suzuki was before honda. The TL1000R came out in 1998 and ended production in 2003. The TL1000S (naked bike variant, detuned TLR motor) came out in 1997. I have a 2003 TLR and the motor is amazing. Suspension not so much but the motor is a beast. Yeah the RC51 was better, but you can pick up TLRs cheap and have a killer sounding, torque monster. 135hp at the crank, around 120 to the rear and it revs out to 11.5k. Makes most of its power up pasts 7k just like inline 4s. I would love a rc51 but finding one without 20,000 miles is hard. Also, the rc51 is notoriously uncomfortable. Sweet bike though.
ОтветитьYep superbike gave ducati so much advantage under the rules of the time honda said two can play at that game
ОтветитьI agree with the FZ6. That was my reentry bike back in 2007. It was terrific.
ОтветитьThat's so true, the used bikes are so cheap right now. Got myself used cruiser, looks great, paid little. People usually think I paid 3x more but it was just 2k usd and around 500 more to fix it up a little.
ОтветитьHANDS DOWN 03-04 gsxr 1000
ОтветитьI have one of those Bandit 1200, just put 38mm carbs on. Major improvement! 1988 gsxr 750 cams are what you want in it. I have cams, but never installed them. I have a zx14, multiple gixxers, LTD's. Not enough free time.
ОтветитьFJR1300...gen 1
ОтветитьFz6 is a bit uncomfortable. But great bike!
ОтветитьWho'd choose fuel injection over carbs? You'll be saying anti lock brakes and traction control are better than talent next too... 🤥
ОтветитьAprilia Shiver 750
ОтветитьBeen riding the Honda CB400SF (Super Four) for 14years. Its a bulletproof bike as well. Now Im riding the FZ1. And I like both bikes.
ОтветитьThe original Fazer was produced 86'-87' I own one
Edit; he wasnt even born yet
ur nose leaking
ОтветитьI don't know how you keep leaving the Goldwing (especially the 1500) off of your lists. Easily the most reliable.
ОтветитьYammie: Talks smack on carbs
Also Yammie: DRZ400 is the s tier beginner bike bro :D
K1200R Sport 2007 25,000 miles $4500 154 hp dyno at the rear wheel, shaft drive, inline 4, water cooled 1147cc Put on 8,000 miles no issues.
ОтветитьI have a suzuki bandit 650 s from 2006 that is carburated, it runs like it has an injector, I love it. And it also has ABS.
ОтветитьI have a Yamaha FZS1000 2005, I really thought it would get a mention.....
Hell of a thrill to ride, 143 BHP, 163 MPH......goes like stink when you want it to....👌😁
I had mine Fz6 for 7 years and it was really sad to go apart, so many good memories. Can recommend to anyone, it can be purring kitten up to 6k rpm and a devil above that. Just change those exhausts as it sounds like a Dyson 😅
Ответитьmissing the first gen fz1 from this list ..like a bandit but better much better
ОтветитьYes 🙌🏽😃
