I like the original better
ОтветитьI met Debby, when she posed for Penthouse.. she was a skinny little thing back then
ОтветитьWhat a gorgeous woman !
ОтветитьMy first ever single record was Denis Denis. From then on I was hooked on Blondie. Loved all their music and I just wanted to look like Debbie Harry . Girl crush 😂
ОтветитьSucks
ОтветитьDebbie was pretty old in pop terms when Blondie hit which was a blessing because a younger woman would've had a hard time handling that level of fame. To say she and Blondie were big is a serious understatement. They were as big as big got!
ОтветитьI would surely answer the phone immediately, Debbie.😆❤️
ОтветитьGood cover but the original is better.
ОтветитьNice cover version, but not better than the original.
ОтветитьI was 13 in 1978 and will never forget those times, nor this brilliant band and song!
ОтветитьSbe was sooooo pretty! ❤
ОтветитьBlondies cover of the Nerves original!
ОтветитьI wish Debbie Harry was my Mom.. OOOOOH Yaaaaaaaa
ОтветитьGreat cover of a classic The Nerves record.
ОтветитьThe original by The Nerves is also epic!
ОтветитьThe best looking women of all time... absolutely stunning!
ОтветитьCover song originally done by the Nerves
ОтветитьThe Nerves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьLoved her so much when I was a young teen. Had no idea she was old enough to be my mom.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьShe was certainly something else ❤❤❤ an absolute dream
ОтветитьNo one does sexy sassiness quite like Blondie.
ОтветитьOnly found out yesterday on the TV show Blondie at the BBC that this is a cover version.
ОтветитьFab one of my faves from this lady
ОтветитьShe was some gal
ОтветитьPossibly the moment when 1978 became cool
ОтветитьNever knew this was a cover until today.
ОтветитьMAMA PUNK 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😈😘😘😘
ОтветитьIsn't it wonderful that in one way Debbie Harry will never grow old.
ОтветитьHow prophetic hanging on the telephone, now morphed into a device to enslave us.
ОтветитьThe one and only.
ОтветитьThis is kylie jenner im the one who singing with harry in the video here
ОтветитьThis is kylie this lady Deborah and madonna taught me to sing.
ОтветитьHarley Queen
Ответить😁Way way way way back in 1978, I played this LP so often! 🥰My mom learned all the lyrics with me! 😁
Ответить♥♥♥
ОтветитьThe only thing wrong with this song is that it's too SHORT. The instrumental section in the middle could go on longer. The beginning could have TWO rings. It could easily have been FOUR minutes, and not lose any energy. Think of Rapture. They did end it right, though, not fading it out, which would not have been good at all.
ОтветитьAny conversation about greatest covers ever that doesn't include this record isn't worth having. Blondie was the stereotypical great band that became lame almost the instant they hit it big. This was before they drove off a cliff.
ОтветитьJust imagine being that fucking good! We can only ever imagine, no band tops blondie, and we all know, no soul tops Debbie Harry.
ОтветитьThe 80 were definitely totally a Blast Man !!
ОтветитьTão bom..
ОтветитьJust before the Crystal Methaney look set in on her.
ОтветитьYes, 60 years old still digging Blonde
ОтветитьGreat time when we were really hanging on the telephone...Times have changed : i am not sure it is the right way...I am nostalgic...I have known another world !
ОтветитьMe❤❤❤
ОтветитьSo gorgeous!!
ОтветитьOn this day in Music - 30 Oct 1978
Blondie released the single 'Hanging on the Telephone', as the second single from the album Parallel Lines. Written by Jack Lee from US West Coast power pop trio The Nerves. The song gave Blondie their first UK Top 10 hit.
No women commands such power as Debra does with her facial expressions eyes, lips, everything
ОтветитьPop Perfection
