I think you were supposed to put the shade I am pine on a black polish just because its a very sheer shade. Although you can see some color, you could see the shade better on the black brush

i'm sure this video has been a very valuable resource for tons of people who want to know more about these Essence polishes. I have loved polish for more than a decade, and the thought of swatching 50 polishes is frankly exhausting. You are doing hard work in swatching, recording and editing for everyone to access. You are more than deserving of any PR products because of all the effort you've put into helping the nal polish community over the years.

This is a great video! I was looking at #5 but wasn't sure what "semi transparent" would actually look like. This is so helpful.

We only get about a quarter of these shades in my area, so the selection is limited, but I love these polishes. I still have a few in the old bottles, but I think they're starting to go bad...

I got I Lilac YOU as my first Essence nail polish and I hated how long it took for it to dry, how much layer it needs for a pretty lilac colour and how easy it chipped off 😅 Since then I still haven't bought any Essence nail polish and I'm not planning too either
