I previously featured an earlier Alpha demo of Holstin on the channel which focused on the story and puzzles (linked at the end of this video). This new demo is a roguelite-esque experience (with narrative elements) designed to showcase the combat (the full game will be a narrative-driven survival horror adventure).
ОтветитьWoah. This game is next level. Like resident evil
ОтветитьThe transition isometric/3rdP Shoulder, 💓
ОтветитьPlease get a new video of the tunnel. Holstin is after quite an update, I'd love to know how the new mechanics work out.
ОтветитьThis is what a modern resident evil should really look like imo. Wow that's impressive and I'm actually excited for this game now.
ОтветитьFor some reason, I feel like this game would be an awesome 3DS game.
LIke the top screen being the screen with all the gameplay and the bottom being inventory management.
May need to be more elaborated but still, love the perspective this game is taking, would love to see more of it soon.
As a game dev, Im envying this game man
this is perfection
Now imagine that they do the same mechanics in an open world sandbox zombie game ala project zomboid.
ОтветитьI really dig the gore and creeping tension, makes for a really brutal experience!
Ответитьi played it on my friend's pc. it's really good and i recently livestreamed (private) on our channel (sentofuu477)
ОтветитьWhats the point in shooting them in the head if they can still run about and attack you?
ОтветитьOh man, this game is too real. Thats what a gunshot actually sounds like.
Ответитьimagine an enemy who is invisible UNTIL you switch perspective, with only slight warping of its surrondings to imply its presence. Or imagine a creature who has an extremely rare chance of spawning on your back every time you do the shoulder animation, that you would have to turn around and kill quickly or else itll kill you
ОтветитьAwesome game i expect it to be free and modable also more guns with trading system
Ответитьif those top down perspective games have these kind of perspective shift like this i'd 100% buy it
if i were to make a game i'd have something like this feature in my game like this
The first version was interesting enough to watch but THIS makes it actually dope as hell imo. I love the perspective shift. Hell yes. This is going on the list
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьRemember guys and gals, vote for interesting stuff with your money. You see a sick a$$ new idea in a game? Buy that sh!t!
Ответитьthis ukrina game is god game
Ответить👑
ОтветитьReally unique perspective and art style with this one
ОтветитьIs kopiko a sponsor?
ОтветитьThat's for sure will be good, that's Polish. We have natural talent to create good horror stories
ОтветитьGame play and art style are looking fantastic! But your aim is s** ;-)
ОтветитьThe concept is pretty good :) I think I'll play this game :)
Ответитьre4 lite version
Ответитьthis looks really awesome
ОтветитьFound rusty key... Rusty key broke after use...Found rusty key... Rusty key broke after use...Found rusty key... Rusty key broke after use...Found rusty key... Rusty key broke after use...Found rusty key... Rusty key broke after use...
ОтветитьI wish I could play all the game in first person, not only the combat sequences.
Ответитьhow to perfectly mix resi 2 and 4
ОтветитьCan any hero without a cape share the license to install the game? The link that recommends the page where I downloaded it is down :(
ОтветитьCool!
ОтветитьI know there's obvious Resident Evil vibes here, but for some reason the way the items swing toward the screen when you examine them reminds me of Killer7.
ОтветитьThat is a cool way to use 3D and isometric!
ОтветитьThat perspective mechanic is exactly what all those old ps1 horrors feel like they looked like.
Ответить"Hand-drawn pixel art" lmaooo. These are 3D models put through a low-res filter. Devs are lying. Please boycott. People gotta learn not to lie.
ОтветитьI love the idea of being able to switch between a top-down view and over-the-shoulder whenever you want! And the pixelated artwork is so pretty!
ОтветитьI wouldn't mind more games doing that perspective shift.
Looks smoother than Cold Fear.
Wow this looks amazing
ОтветитьThese graphics intrigue me, the whole idea looks so novel. They managed to make actual 3D graphics look like a top-down quasi-isometric perspective with pixel graphics.
Ответитьrelease date?
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, this game looks amazing. The art direction is so cohesive, and the perspective switch really is genius, it's funny how I can't ever recall seeing a game go from isometric-esque to over-the-shoulder before, since it seems so obvious now. :)
Ответитьgot dizzy watching this
ОтветитьWill this one be on ps4?
ОтветитьThis definitely could've been the type of gameplay RE4 would've went with in another timeline
Ответитьthis is so give me Resident Evil old school camra england vibs.
ОтветитьThis game looks amazing. The only thing I’m not too crazy about is the aiming being tied to the stamina bar.
ОтветитьThis is what I mean whenever I tell people about how strong art direction can truly trump graphical fidelity. It's getting easier and easier to point this out the more AAA developers obsess over realism to the point where they almost don't care how poorly optimized their games often turn into or how big the files become just so they can get those sweet, sweet awards and recognition from their peers/echo chamber. That's why I don't get how people like Skill Up could call Armored Core 6's graphics to be boring. Not every game has to look "pretty" or "colorful" after all. Some of my favorite games have the most oppressive atmospheres without the need of particle effects and HD textures everywhere.
ОтветитьI love this games style and ambience. Very tense.
Ответитьlooks good 👍
