I may be young but i am very patient so everytime i build tamiya models i always have fun even tough its hard to build
ОтветитьGreat job! Some modelers criticize Tamiya kits for being too simple to assemble. To them I say: There's more complex and expensive kits out there to challenge them, and bad kits that just frustrate. It's up to them: Be a model snob, or enjoy being frustrated by having to solve unnecessary problems... For myself, I'd rather the kit goes together properly, and spend my OCD time on painting and detailing 😏.
ОтветитьAK Camouflage putty well worth investing in, really simple and reusable. Model looks great
ОтветитьGreat to watch your builds ,I'm retired now looking forward to getting back to modelling,I have got a few kits stashed ,I can build ok ,but always struggle with the painting and weathering ,
ОтветитьCompletely shits over all of Airfix's spitfires
Ответить정말 아름답군요
ОтветитьVery nice!... we have a Spitfire warbird here in NZ.👍🇳🇿✈️
ОтветитьAwesome video, just about to start one. Just wondering why you didn't paint or part paint some of the smaller cockpit items that went in? Something you wouldn't advise?
ОтветитьReginald Joseph Mitchell was born in Butt Lane (village) Talke, Staffordshire…in a terrace house right opposite my dentist’s front door …every time I exit from my dentist my eye is drawn to the blue commemoration plaque on the house wall as a constant reminder ( after being drilled) …things could have been far worse..RIP Reggie…
ОтветитьWhy paint hidden parts?
ОтветитьG'day SMA, I reckon this kit by Tamiya is the best they've done in years. Its clever, innovative design features result in an outstanding fit and the level of minute detail gives even Eduard Profipaks a run for their money. I did one of these soon after they were released down here in Australia and I enjoyed the build so much I'm about to do another one, this time the version with the black and white under wings.
You did an excellent build and some logical weathering without going overboard as the trend is, sometimes, these days. One tiny point: I didn't see any weathering on the prop blades, although I just could have missed them in your camera shots.
Overall, this Tamiya kit has a higher level of detail and is a little bit more 'fiddly' than their standard kits; and that's a good thing. They should do more kits this way. I'm really pleased at how your build and paint job worked out, and I'm sure you are too.
Cheers, and all the best, Bill H.
Should Tamiya’s extra thin cement only be used and applied over joins when sanding and painting will be done? Would it be visible if it wasn’t painted over?

Ответитьbeautiful :')
ОтветитьFantastic finish sir. With regard to the camouflage I recently came across the Air Ministry "manual" 1939-1945 marking out rules for colours for camo. etc together with the size of squadron markings. The ministry decreed that the camouflage colours should merge and not be defined by a sharp line. So you have it spot on sir. Great video.
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing! ! ! You are so masterful. Looks exactly like the real aircraft.
ОтветитьAmazing video. The finished model is spectacular! I love this airplane and you rendered it perfectly!
ОтветитьExcelente modelo é muita categoria bjs abraços muita saúde
Ответитьtamiya is one of thr best
ОтветитьAmazing. perhaps the best kit of all time done a wonderful justice.
ОтветитьБраво Душане! Заиста перфектан рад!
ОтветитьSuperb kit!
ОтветитьThere’s nothing more boring than watching a geek build a model airplane. I know because my wife says this very same thing to me all the time.
ОтветитьAmazing work!
For the dark earth, do you recommend the Tamiya mix or the Alclad2 dark earth?
Thanks
Looked up this video because I’m helping out a library in making one but someone started it but just rushed it so I need the help on what he did
ОтветитьWow! Very Cool Video !
ОтветитьThumbs up ...fabulous work and attention to detail.
ОтветитьI’ve never seen so much Tamiya gear in the one video
ОтветитьIs this suitable for a beginner
ОтветитьSuperb!
ОтветитьLovely kit and a very nice build! However, at $200 AUD it's way beyond my budget.
Ответитьhes the equivalent of a tamiya fanboy he doesn't any other companys product
ОтветитьGood done, but why you not using Tamya's accent panel?
ОтветитьNice job. Thanks for the video. What glue did you use, or how did you attach the armored windscreen to the front canopy? I'm about to start this model and I'm feeling anxious about that part!
ОтветитьTamiya + the Master!
ОтветитьI have the impression that the weathering on most models is largely overdone. What I see is chipping and erasure of the paint, oil, soot, ... What is the expert opinion ?
ОтветитьFANTASTIC !!!! !!!! !!!! BRAVO !!!! Greetings from Athens, Greece!!!
ОтветитьI am ALWAYS AMAZED at your work. Thanks for sharing!!
ОтветитьVery nice build, but why would you risk putting glue on the outside of the fuselage when you could have put it on the inside? I'm referring to the cockpit side panel insert.
Ответитьhi im an aspiring 12 year old model builder and your videos really made me want to do it more often thanks!
ОтветитьI’m fairly new to model building.
How do you make the weather wash to highlight the interior details?
Thank you.
I think the panel lines are too pronounced. Not to scale. Just my thoughts.
ОтветитьNaah 😆😆😆
ОтветитьI think a lot of money i need for that paint
Sand paper
Etc
Excelente video desde chile abrazo a mi también me gusta los aviones y el aermodelisno gran trabajo 🤘🇨🇱
ОтветитьShow!!!!!
ОтветитьFantastic work 👌 I wish I had the patience and skill to do this. I think I'd end up messing it up within 5 minutes.
ОтветитьGreat build. I bought this kit today, I'm going to build a different option from yours- N3200 QV, as that's the aircraft I sat in last week!
ОтветитьGood job. Anyway, if it can help for a more faithful reproduction, while almost all kit companies suggest interior green for spitfire cockpit colour, on the web interesting sources may be fount attesting that first marks spitfires variants interiors were painted sky type: according to such references, RAF cockpit green was used from mk V variants onwards and later replaced by black (mk XIV) , while ultimate marks showed upper black and lower sky cockpits.
