If you shoot Reed in the chest for the king of wands ending (instead of a headshot) he’ll end up in a kneeling position and it gives a “Tears in the rain” vibe. 🫠

I'm so angry, what is this, why can't the writers make an ending that satisfies everyone? I don't care if it's NC, I just want an ending that doesn't make me sad or doesn't make me wonder if V is really going to survive....

I find it interesting how she lost the pendant, really showing that YES, she faded away. She faded away to nothingness, yet still alive.

Either way, I really like this ending because at least for me, I wanted to see V as a fixer, since it was mentioned in a dialogue option. Like, imagine in a later game of the Cyberpunk series you get V giving you the sidegigs at Heywood or something, with the hidden face just like Mr Hands. Would be a nice little cameo and at least a satisfying ending, for once lol

Though I didn't hand over Songbird. Reed got in the way of course, and I shot him. He said in another ending he promised to be with Songbird if she ran into trouble... he was just on the wrong side of it.

I wish I coulda gotten the solo raid into Mikoshi, but that will take redoing - went with Rogue instead. Arasaka is looking worse than it has in years, Saburo's engrams are gone, V is in bed with Judy, and Mr Blue Eyes says he might be able to fix V... for a price, of course. Guaranteed to be THE night city legend if V pulls it off, with a decent chance of surviving. All while being a shining beacon for those around her.

You know what? Seems like a far better ending than The Tower.
But now I want to do it solo.

Yep nope tower ending is what I got and I refuse to have that be my ending lost judy lost my chrome my rep how is the one where you know V lives the worst ending of all

Killing songbird ending really broke me

I thought for a long time. Seriously for straight 3 fuckin' hours its just which ending is better. And its helping so mi asf. You are a good person and Johnny literally completes you. He is literally a mentor in your head. Everything he says has a point if you think about it. And when you end the game, you live your last moments with Judy or Panam or you blew the fuck out of Arasaka with Johnny. You die as a legend. Live as a legend. Thats the truth.

Finally finished it, ended up with Tower. 😭😔

Sacrificing the cure to save Songbird made me give my own body to Johnny in (don't fear) the Reaper ending, we may want to become legends but even legend weighs jack shit against the lives of the people we love.

There is a 6TH ENDING. here's how,and it's super easy: you ready? JUST WALK AWAY AND IGNORE SONGBIRD. no,Really!
Just walk away as far as you can from dogtown afterwhen songbird tells you to sneak into dogtown before through the dumpster,past the thugs and through the abandoned parking garage. Walk away before all that after she gives you the relic. She will lightly chew you out for ignoring her,then swear at you hard and leave you and tell you that she hopes you and her never meet again. You will then be ko'ed and wake up to Johnny and see the NUAF1 ship crash into Dogtown outside of it. Johnny will ask you to grab a drink and go about your lives and say f*** 'em.

Seriously. This is the WORST of the endings in the DLC. give it a try! It's what i call "F*** Phantom Liberty" ending. You are essentially skipping the DLC if you do this. DO this if you got all the endings already.

I like the ending where she lives happily ever after with Judy and Panam, wayyyy more.

The canon in my head is KIng of Cups + The Star if you romanced Judy or Panam, OR The Sun + giving back the body to V to see a really beautiful Johnny Silverhand closure.

Now that i have seen this ending, i sure as hell won't ever do the Tower one. I can't lose Judy. I think i'll just stick to the Aldecado ending leaving with Panam and Judy by my side. That's always been my go-to ending every single playthrough i do.

Don't know what people are talking about, in my opinion The Tower ending is the best ending out of all. In the base game you can either chose suicide, go with Arasaka and only have 6 months to live after that or have your mind put into an AI, go with Panam which is considered the best ending, but I honestly don't know why because it doesn't cure you and still gives you only 6 months to live. The last option is to let Johnny take over your body, which is also a shit ending. So, The Tower ending is the only one that actually cures V. She loses the ability to use weapons, but so what? She can still work for the FIA, or continue to work as a criminal, but not in the field. People consider her a legend, there are a lot of organizations that would pay her for her knowledge. She could easily train new recruits, whether at the FIA, or at criminal organizations. There is no 100% happy ending in the game and that's what makes it special. The Tower ending is at least the only one that cures you and gives you a chance at a new life.

The Tower ending is the mother of all reality checks. After seeing this, I think I will still always go with Blaze of Glory and the Nomads ending. Still hoping V get's his happy ending minus the disability.

No good ending in Night City 😭

Keeping Johnny is the best ending. Cause he is THE only legend. Not V. He is the critical thinking, the blind faith for a better future, he is a chance for some Keanu in all of us. V is a surrogate, a host, a puppet until s/he meets Johnny

No happy endings in Night City

King of Wands is, in my opinion, the ending that is most fitting for a V that is chasing their legend. You and Johnny both should acknowledge the kindred spirit in Songbird and want at least someone to win their fight and earn their blaze of glory in the end— the bitter sweet thing though is seeing the Tower ending, and knowing that is what awaits Songbird. Song already lost her old life, and without her abilities will be a nobody with nothing in the middle of nowhere just like you were in the Tower, or even worse the Devil.

Phantom Liberty does a fantastic job of illustrating just how fucked all parties are, and everyone is on a different side of the same coin; Alex, V, Johnny, Reed, Songbird— all with aspirations ambitions and creeds, dragged down to the dirt and beaten by Night City.

Genuinely think the only good ending in the game is storming Mikoshi solo, and letting Johnny take over after you pave your legend. Johnny gets his second lease on life with open eyes, you got your legend, you hopefully touched everyone around you for the better; and Night City gets the fat middle finger on the way out.

Might be that tower ending is the canon ending if they plan to make V the protagonist again if a sequel comes out. So that we as the player start from scratch too.

someone confirms my theory , if in the pentacle ending reed says the matrix didnt take so mi so it cant save her, then what will happen to her on the moon in the king of the wands ending ?? wouldnt the matrix cant help her there as well? so we sent her with our only cure to die on the moon ? i think these multiple ending give one big picture to canonize one of them or gives you the idea of what the best and worst ending possible.

You know, I never would’ve thought if I would be disappointing the second time with cd project, red all of these and then suck and it left a hole in my gut not everyone has a dark personality. Some of us actually want a good ending a peaceful one.

So is there an ending where you actually get cured and live on as V?

While doing king of wands I continued to call Song Bird a pos. She set me up from the beginning.

Don't fear the reaper ending is still the best. No one dies, you solo Arasaka, take revenge on Adam Smasher and become a fooking legend. Then you go on a suicide mission cause why not, you're soon dead anyway.

That tower ending is so fucked…. That was my first ending and I’ve never been so crushed by a game in my life watching everything fall apart.

The ending no one ever expected what happened the drops what he's doing gets with Johnny with Pan Am they break into biotecnika V clones himself then vanity creates an engram of himself to go into the clone and let's silverhand take the body

There are only 2 "good" endings The Sun and The Star. Temperance is neutral, while The Devil and the Tower are "Bad" Endings. Given how each ending is given the name of a Tarot card looking up their meanings give you an idea on what is good and bad relatively.

For me the best ending is the king of wands and then leave with the nomads. There's still hope to find a cure in the last 6 months with them and you dont lose all your romance, friends, money, house, powers... Idk, just my opinion

The Tower Ending is just a big equivalent exchange... you got what you wanted, but in the end you gave up everything you had to make it happen.

Years of your time, your chrome, even most of the people who knew you thought to move on without you. And most of all, your want to become an NC Legend.

All to end up as a faceless nobody that'll fade into obscurity, if the Relic didn't kill you, some random chrome junkie would be capable of doing that and more leaving you rotting behind a dumpster at the back of some 2 star dive while your corpse sucks up the rancid scents of piss and shit.

And in the end, you can only think to yourself... was it worth it?
