Love the music

this kind of visual set up is only good for some short videos to wow people. it will make your eyes bleed when you actually play it as a 'game'

It looks generic. Like most of these fan made remakes. So much light everywhere and over saturation.

Grass is wrong

a lot of this is just assets slapped together in a way that looks reasonable but not necessarily better, a lot of it loses the original charm and the art style is completely gone.

worst offenders for me are those water and fire shaders though, gosh

I started playing it again around 3pm and it’s hella fuzzy on my tv but playing for hours hahaha 😂 time was just flying before I knew it , it was midnight

1. The grass/ground in Hyrule field looks too weird together
2. The lightning in Hyrule field makes Link look like a claydoll outdoors
3. Links face is way too androgynous and cringe

Completamente snaturato. L'interno del deku three non può essere cosi luminoso, ma se mai bisogna dare molto più l'idea di aria malsana. Sta accadendo qualcosa di marcio all'interno. E poi come me li spieghi quei buchi nel tronco da cui entra la luce? Anche il villaggio kokiri completamente sbagliato e colori in generale troppo accesi. Un remake deve essere fedele e se mai migliorare e non snaturare.

I prefer the original, I'm playing the PC port at 4K 165hz ultrawide OLED and it's amazing. This remake is too =plasticky, shiny and doesn't have the art charm (a skeleton full of blood doesn't even make sense) though it it vey impressive and I can appreciate how it brings the world to life

I would love to play this remake, one of my all time favorite games. I thought it did look like the remake when I first played it, lol.

Rivers flow a little too quickly and are more chaotic than they should be at the both the speed they are in the video and the speed they should be, and the rolling boulder at the kokiri sword could use some polish on the animation when turning corners. Other than those two details everything is immaculate.

The actual files i downloaded to play this remake are not nearly as detailed and have a ton of bugs. You can play them too if you become a patreon member of his work. If you ask me he needs to spend less time focusing on the showcasing and more time focusing on completing the game.

I think it looks great but we have to remember that the story of Ocarina of Time reflects both its overall world and the technology of the day. The fog and fade lighting of the original game portrays this quite well atmosphericly andnwas also a gift based on what the N64 was capable of handling. Anything more and it would have been a necessary evil of loading screens and a requirement to have the 64DD to play anything.
But this unreal engine is breathtaking and highly admirable! Beautiful work from a non-studio development! I would love this unexplored version of Hyrule! Great job!

The Fairies somehow look worse. Does the creator of this fan remake think the fairies are just spheres with wings? The fairies are actually humanoid but the original couldn't make a good looking sprite that small so they just used a ball of light and made the light so bright you couldn't see the body instead.
