Wrap Objects ONTO OTHER OBJECTS in Blender with Conform Object!

Seems neat but I'm not paying for an addon I don't know will absolutely fix the issue I'm having with my model. I get that they deserve to be paid for their work, I'm just explaining why it's not the right fit for me as a hobbyist using a free program in the first place.

So you can't wrap an object all the way around it? Say for example purposes, you have a tube and a sphere. The tube would not be able to wrap all the way around it seamlessly? How would I go about doing something like that?

I have an issue with my detail-objects surface when i wrap it along the surface it belongs to :/ Any way we could talk about that? I have no way for a solution

yeah it looks great but fucked if i can get it to work, new file, add quad sphear, add rectangle, subdivide it simple 5 render, conform object, nothing, just plonks it on top, doesnt conform the shape at all, i dont get the conform object options on the left, nothing. fucking fuming

You can do this without addons, consider deleting this video and making an apology video for being a hack fraud.

For anyone who is running into the error "The bottom of the source object is not pointing towards the target object":
The fix is to rotate the conforming object's verts in edit mode so that the bottom of it is aligned with the Z axis, then back in object mode, you rotate the conform object's new Z axis to align with the object you wish to conform it to.

I bought this plugin today, it's not working well, although my computer is new it freezes every time I use it, the filter does not dissolve large numbers of polygons maybe.

does the conform object work if the source object is animated? Like trying to animate text onto a turning page of a book?

There have some analog of Conform Object? I need to add some 3d patches to cloth, but rotate cloth object and apply transformation is big problem for me. It's game object and by rotating and apply transformation I can easy broke 3d game model. So any way to do that without rotation?

WHY is this not part of the software already? spent the last hour trying to wrap and bend an object to fit around a circle bend is such a hassle with deform

Yeah getting a little upset about all these paid add ons. Updates should have these implemented. No sense in buying an add on then blender updates and the add on doesn't work.

I appreciate the work being done to create these but its kinda like a pay to win feature being used by blender creators.
