I leveled horsemanship by following all the treasure maps and ancient maps early on in the game. This gave Henry a good set of gear and enough groschen to buy the best horse. However, after all those trials and tribulations with Pebbles, it would be disloyal to trade him in. I got him an upgrade instead. There is a mod for that. If Henry can train from bumpkin to knight, then why shouldn't Pebbles merit promotion too? He got a beauty treatment too, from dingy grey to charcoal black.

This video is hot garbage honestly. Every section is "Use the skill to level it up!". You didn't give any helpful information at all. Herbalism you could have pointed out great spots for leveling up, alchemy you could have pointed out the best potions to use and discuss autobrewing, and so many other examples. The only useful thing I got from this 27 minute video is that exhausting every speech option levels speech

Herbalism is very usefull to train firts in the game start before you speak with your father, if you do it you can get both main perks still in the tutorial

I will change the Hunting and Bow skill and move both next to the forest of Talmberg Huntsman, it has right next to him Deer and Roe hunting spots and a lot of Hare, by the time you go back to him all items are usually already not flagged as stolen, but even if they are he has next to him a fire where you can cook and then sell to him. Out of experrience i will say to do that after you get a Horse for more space and slowly raise his ammount of money each day. I was training fast all three skills of Houndmaster, Hunting and Archery + making around 30k gold an ingame day.

For anyone coming later... you can train to lvl 17 herbalism in Skalitz during the prologue, just pick everything, and take "leg day" perk you're training your strength at the same time. (you can also sell the herbs there for money too)

I cant for the life of me find Captain Bernard. I am the story point where I have to find someone nicknamed Reeky from Litchdeek or something. So is Bernard locked by story for now? cause i cant find him at the combat arena.

You can train alchemy without reading

I saw this somewhere else and I'll pass it on here. Alchemy, Lulabye Potion + Arrows= Sleeping targets that can be pickpocketed.
Also, allows you to take out harder targets.
If I remember right, one potion does l 5 arrows, and they can and should be recovered and reused.

Bit late but for agility if you find a bush by a river (or any other obstacle with the same property)
You can spam jump way quicker by walking towards it while jumping you only get mini hops if it works got from lvl 13 to 14 in a few minutes😂

There’s a chest at the mill where you stay that you can pick over and over again without risk of getting caught. It’s the crate the Miller teachers you with.

When training with captain bernard, after he beats you up, if you talk to him again and pick Practice combos, the game will fully heal you. After the combo practice and you are healed, just go back to training with a real weapon. Saves a lot of time.

Can you store items at the box in the miller's house without him stealing it?

A bit late but a great way to improve your pickpocketing skill is to find Bandit and/or Cuman camps at night. When they're sleeping sneak up and practice pickpocketing them, if you get caught your reputation won't be hurt in any way because well... they're bandits and Cumans.

Hunting is a very fast way to earn money. Go to the Area where you were hunting with Sir Capon. There are Roe deer, boar, and Red deer hunting areas close to each other. Boar brings the most Gold by weight. Hunt as much as you can carry. Use the horse to get as fast to Uzhitz as possible. Meat spoils fast and that lowers its value. Go to the Tavern in Uzhitz first to cook the meat and get rid of the “stolen” tag. Then go to the trader in Uzhitz. He usually has a lot of money (1-2K) and if you are on good terms with him and have a decent reputation in Uzhitz, you can earn 600-700 Groschen in one trip. Hunting and selling meat gets significantly easier and more profitable when you use Hunting perks like "Tanner" for the extra coin selling the skin, "Wild at Heart" so game doesn't run away so easily and "Salty", so meat doesn't spoil so fast. That way, you can afford decent equipment in no time.

I don't understand why so many player's are obsessed with saviour shnapps for saving the game?? For just 30 Groshens, you can save your game at any bath house you pass by selecting "heal wounds, bath & clean armour" option. Far cheaper than those stupid shnapps potions.

remember to train naked with wooden weapon, no need to pay for fixing armour after a 8 h fight.

The best way to grind pickpocketing and stealth simultaneous without much risk of loosing rep that I've seen is to just look for wayfarers, getting off your horse after going behind them, sneak up, pickpocket them, knock them out, steal Groschen, then look for the next wayfarer

I love this game. I taped some electric tape on my TV to use as a reticle for the bow lol. Made shooting 100x easier.

Lockpicking is easiest to level in Rattay because it has a lot of doors and chests of various levels. Take a few in-game nights (when people lock their doors and shops are closed) and go around opening every front door you can find - just be careful not to get spotted. If you're feeling risky you can go inside and start picking chests too.

I just got this game and leveled locking picking to 15 so I could do very hard locks and rob merchant's. Fastest way I found was just unlock everyone's doors (making sure no one sees you). I would unlock the door then walk in the door way whistle or jump then walk back out 9/10 a person would get up to see what I was doing then just leave the houses "area" be it to the fence or just to the main road and they will go back inside and lock the door behind them. You then just rinse and repeat. Note you can only do this 2 to 3 times per house before they call the guards and it affects your reputation so just go from house to house. I did 2 to 3 cities a night and had level 15 in about 2 days, 5-6 hours playing a day.

About the drinking skill, if you’re trying to raise it quickly, I definitely recommend choosing to drink with Father Godwin during the Mysterious Ways quest (I recommend doing it anyways, it’s hilarious). I was level 2 in drinking, then after one night of debauchery with that man I was level 6.

Money making sooo easy. You have to give the merchants seed money. Go out and kill something (man, animal, doesn't matter) or pick flowers. Take stuff off of what you have killed or make potions. Sell it to a merchant. All obvious.

Here's the key: when you sell stuff to a merchant, they have more gold a couple of days later. That extra gold lasts for a couple of days before they return to their normal amount. Go out, kill more stuff, keep selling it to the same merchants that you have seeded or seed more merchants. Give merchants a price break. Not only will you gain reputation but it seeds them all the more. I have had Miller Peshek up to 20K Groschen. If you keep selling to them they keep increasing available Groschen, presumably because they are reselling at a profit. The economy does not seem to saturate so you can keep this cycle going way beyond any point that you need more Groschen.

Also, choose general merchants to seed because they buy everything. That's millers, traders, and blacksmiths.

Speed can be skilled faster trough negotiating. Simply start the negotiation with the merchant, don't change the bar, but immediatly accept. You will get Speech XP for this.

You can get a haircutand d/or shave and it will raise charisma by 1 for like 4 or 5 days. Sleeping with a bathmaid only last 2 days
