This movie depicts the different and complex emotions of the three people really well. I empathized very deeply with the three people throughout the second half of the movie.

For women husbands are like jobs. They will at least entertain the possibility of leaving is the are offered other benefits

I loved the way this film told a story of the pains of falling out of love with someone. It was beautifully made.

Honesty is crucial for a relationship and all, but this is the type of situation where it'd be cool to downplay the truth just a bit...

This was a great movie. It was raw and realistic. It teaches everyone that real life isnt a love story. That some people can have a beautiful story but not end up together. Its the perfect anti-romantic story

Nah she made her husband a third wheel the whole movie the bar scene was just sad her back was turned towards her husband and she faced the other dude like as if they were a couple, i dont know whether to feel bad or laugh at the husband for letting his wife hang out with a dude thats not a friend anymore since they haven't seen each since they were like 12, and she clearly wanted to bang that dude just by the way she looked at him....she had more love in her eyes while looking at him then probably the whole time she has been married to the other dude, and the ending like wtf dude(husband) the other dude leaves and she just starts balling and your there hugging her....he is just her buffer by then, she is totally in love with the other dude, and there is no way a women would let her husband spend much time alone with another attractive women like the husband did

Hae Sung is not Nora’s In-Yun. Arthur is. Their lives came together so unexpectedly aligned. Their marriage, their relationship was practical and needed, not in any way forced and if anything was very helpful.

I’d hate if Nora ended up with Hae Sung. It was clear that he didn’t want to pursue Nora, and that she had bigger dreams than him. Nora and Hae Sung “knew” each other. But Arthur knows Nora. He might have witnessed her growth, her struggles and was there for her all along. While Hae Sung didn’t have that. All he has was the Nora he knew and held onto it, without making the effort of truly knowing what she has become.

So that’s that. Arthur is Nora’s 8000 layers of In-Yun. He was there with her in the right place at the right time and for the right reason.

One thing i did not expect from this movie would be how funny it is. Like yeah it wasnt knee-slappingly funny, but me and the two theaters I went to (yes I had to watch it twice and maybe more in the future) were laughing at the jealousy we knew all too well. It was this human type of humor, something so identifiable and personally connective.

So many red flags and this guy just does nothing to combat them or resolve them.

“Are you attracted to him?”

“I don’t know”

You don’t know? You have to think about it? And he does nothing. So many unresolved issues and feelings in this movie. Their relationship is not going to last if one of them cannot take the initiative. I know I’m projecting. But at the same time, I’m not wrong.

Haven't seen the movie, so take my comment for what you will... from the perspective of being a little older, and having been through a bunch of relationships, if one partner in a relationship is carrying on an ongoing relationship of any kind with an ex who is single... you've got trouble.

I think the part that made Arthur really reflect on his own jealousy was when Nora said that whenever she cried, Haesung just stood there with her to watch her cry. That line hit me as well.

The ending was heartbreaking but it let you do your own conclusion. Based on watching the film my imagination thinks that she went back to Seoul for him ! I mean the ending she broke down in tears 😭 she didn’t embrace her man. Not to mention that intense bedroom scene
