Son and his whole era looks very basic and flawed as the video shows, which clearly guys never have seen other era's in full apparently, or don't compare as I have here, what was the basis for ever picking Son when he never even fought guys as advanced as the even the no names who were way more advanced in the 80s? see how it doesn't make any sense picking him people online aren't very sane ,

I just never have understood picking obviously very outdated people as if the people they fought were as advanced when they clearly weren't, as if video doesn't exist showing they weren't as advanced, very odd

It's fact liston best win was this legend floyd, I could've put a video of basically a lhw mercer faced who was way more advanced than Floyd was and how Mercer destroyed him way easier than Liston did Floyd, see how this doesn't make any sense as I said at all, people clearly pick son from legend status alone, he never fought guys as advanced as even the average guy in 80s-90s, let alone mid carders

My video shows even no names were more advanced than this whole era it was my last video

On forums, said liston hit as hard as guys like mercer which is a lie, tony wasn't much bigger than rocky and he had to stay away cause ray hit so hard

Tony was almost koed in the 1st from a hard jab from ray and he was stunned very easily with way less shots from mercer

Patterson was a skilled boxer, but Liston had the strength
and size to cancel it out.

Patterson was a very good fighter, but he had the physicality of a light heavyweight.

Patterson wasn't one of the best heavyweights of all time. He was simply one of the best light -heavyweights.

He got lucky in that the fighter he had to beat for the heavyweight championship was another light -heavyweight who was nearly 40 (Archie Moore)

Al inicio del video el anunciador menciona a Cassius Clay y se ve como Ali (Clay) saluda a Patterson y hace el amague de ir a la esquina de Liston y a medio camino se regresa y deja desairado al entonces campeón de los pesados.

Liston beat Patterson like a drum but fell to Cassius Clay like he forgot how to fight. Those two fights were fixed.

Despite or perhaps in spite of his size, Floyd Patterson fought as a heavyweight because that’s where the money and glory was. And, to his credit, he became a two-time world heavyweight champion, quite an accomplishment. Inevitably he ran into true heavyweights of greater caliber, twice losing to Sonny Liston and also twice losing to Muhammad Ali. Patterson, trained by legendary Cus D’Amato, got the most out of his God-given body and talents.

I hate to put down Patterson, but this was the equivalent of a little boy fighting a grown man. The little boy might be younger and faster, but the grown man just needs one power shot to end the whole thing

Most human beings, your reach is within 3" of your height. If 6 feet tall (72 inches), reach will be 69 to 75 inches for most people. Pattersons reach was 1 inch less than his height. That's on the low side and not ideal for boxing. Liston's reach was a staggering 11 inches longer than his height. That's crazy. Definitely an advantage he had over Patterson, and would have had over Marciano, whose reach was about 3 inches less than his height.

I believe there may have been plans for a third Liston v Patterson bout just before Sonny's death? I bet on Patterson to regain his title for the second time in 63 but it was all over in 2 mins and 18 seconds.
