ITS ABOUT TIME!💯💯💯
ОтветитьIt seems the building code should require these homes per location
ОтветитьThere's one built in McCrogan SC back in 2003, the owner had to instruct the builder on how to construct it. It withstood Hurricane Matthew and Florence, I was in it only lost power, not one shingle was gone. I witness the power of wind coming out of the west and going through the trees, laying them on their side and nothing happened to me. Mother is a Beast!!!!
Ответить> "hurricane-proof"
> builds a wood frame house
Hurricane Andrew would like a word with you.
Definitely not debris going 200 mph proof
ОтветитьThat house is literally built just like any other
ОтветитьHow about a house made from stone? Has anyone ever seen the story of the wolf and the three little piggies?
ОтветитьImagine the headaches you'd save by using idk concrete, brick ect.
ОтветитьNow use steel instead of wood and weld it together. Thing would be nearly impossible to blow over
ОтветитьGreat idea but… Climatard fear? 🤦🏼♂️
ОтветитьClimate change is real and the oceans are rising. I remember that Obama speech, right before he bought his beachfront property.
ОтветитьPerhaps homes in hurricane zones should not be built out of wood and instead should be built out of concrete. It is understandable that concrete is more expensive. Wouldn't it be less expensive in the long term to not have to rebuild your house every 10 - 15 years if your house is built to withstand hurricanes?
Ответитьwhy are they using wood anyway?
ОтветитьThe story of the three little pigs comes to mind.
ОтветитьHistoric homes suffer the least damage from hurricanes, because they were made with solid wood or brick. These modern homes made with low quality material are polluted and using up a lot more resources as most of them have to undergo significant repairs after hurricanes!
ОтветитьHow can I get help with getting one of these built?
ОтветитьNot surprised at a round home survives a hurricane! Makes perfect sense! Should be required by all insurance companies in hurricane prone areas!!!!
ОтветитьLet me guess it’s made of stone
ОтветитьVery Great !
ОтветитьThe construction industry has been ignoring this for decades. Why? Follow the money.
(It’s not profitable)
I worked for Deltec 30 years ago. They really are well built homes. Like beautiful tanks.
ОтветитьClimate change? Called hurricane season. Called living on the outer banks on a sand spit made by previous hurricanes.
Ответить"We use special materials". Then shows wood shop.
Ответитьwhat about homes like this in wildfire areas ? Are they flame proof ?
ОтветитьUSE CONCRETE!
ОтветитьDoes nothing to stop the water
Ответитьnot many people would be willing to live in what is essentially a grain silo or quonset hut, and even fewer towns' zoning regulations would allow them to be built.
Ответитьand they said GOD couldnt sink the titanic
ОтветитьNobody goes to sleep at night wishing they had not put high wind zone (Simpson strong tie) hurricane connectors in their building, or home structure.
Nobody goes to sleep at night wishing they had not raised their building that extra 3 feet.
Hire a state certified building engineer or architect. Tell them you want your house to withstand category five storm winds, and 500 year flood lines. They will tell you how much that will cost, how very few do it. Do it.
A penny’s worth of prevention, is worth more than a dollar’s worth of reconstruction after the storm.
It’s either a hurricane resistant structure or the world’s largest frisbee. Time will tell.
ОтветитьI saw the zelle ad. which is why I will never use it.
ОтветитьShut your pie hole, man made climate change is not real. The climate changes on it's own time with or without man! And I'm sure some woke sick human will say that I'm a misogynist for using MAN MADE climate change. You all need Jesus!
Ответитьdome is probably even better
ОтветитьThat is fantastic. I am sure it s only for the rich.
ОтветитьAnd all ya gotta do is sh*t a golden brick !
ОтветитьIt didn't cost money it SAVED MONEY and more.
ОтветитьLooks good, but it better be elevated on pilings on the coast.
ОтветитьCan we make it bigger
Ответить2022 : 🍺🫲🏻 hold this
ОтветитьWhat’s this song playing in the beginning
ОтветитьShould be mandatory in building codes. Stronger and consistently updated building codes. Is a must.
ОтветитьIs that hemp Crete withstanding a lot better
ОтветитьNo reason wooden can't be strong use hurricane ties and metal brackets! It saved my house and had minimal damage through an ef3 tornado in Ontario. Metal siding is the way to go as well
ОтветитьWhy u guys don't Spend on strong concrete homes with concrete ceiling....rather than spending whol life just to make wodden home..that can get burner easily ..damaged easily and destroyed easily
ОтветитьI would rather evacuate.
ОтветитьHurricane or tornadoe proof house is just simply all made of concrete no hallow blocks, design like a bunker or just simply cube building just all concrete with strong round bars skeleton Like that! Or I-beam steel, common sense!!! Wht the FCK is happening to this American people they can't learn from their mistakes, how many decades past, still building their houses from woods or Lego blocks and galvanized roofing? Wtf?😄
ОтветитьThis is nothing new
ОтветитьTry building that in the philippines though.. Not gonna happen..And the termites will eventually eat it down to balsa wood strength .
ОтветитьWhy is WOOD used? Why not STEEL?
Ответить
